I went out of Clewiston today, south end of Lake Okeechobee. My guests were Paul Day and his son Wilson from Michigan. They are down here in Florida on vacation, spending their spring break with the family. His wife and daughter stayed at Delray Beach to have a girl’s day while the boys went fishing today. We had a 6-hour trip today, beautiful weather, sunny with a light breeze…high was on 80s, it was supposed to cool down at night. We fished in artificial at the beginning and caught 25+ bass. A couple of hours into our adventure, we decided to start fishing with shiners and caught a couple of 5 and 3-pounders. Next year they want to catch Peacocks! Looking forward! Overall, today was a great day…caught a lot of fish!
This is Captain Doug…signing off. Tight lines everyone!
