We hope this helps take some of the guesswork out of planning your fishing trip.
So What Can you Really expect on a fishing charter?
When you call our toll-free number, you will get to talk to a knowledgeable person that has fished each of the locations we service……… not a booking service with maps and no concept or knowledge of the area. We are there to answer any questions or uncertainties you may have, which could typically include travel plans throughout Florida for largemouth bass and Florida peacock bass fishing.
We are NOT a booking service for fishing guides, but a company that employs world-class fishing guides with a high-tech management system that allows them to be more productive and better perform when fishing with you!
Once your questions have been answered and you have decided on a date, we immediately ask for your contact information and make your tentative reservation. We ask that you confirm your reservation with a by credit card. There is NO deposit, the reservation is simply confirmed. We do not charge your credit card at this time; it is simply to verify the reservation.
If customers are able to provide us with an email address, we send a very efficient and high-tech trip itinerary with confirmation information. Including meeting location, directions, time, and name & numbers for your fishing guide.
This information can also be faxed, text messaged to your cell phone or given to you at that time over the phone. One thing is for certain, if you have a confirmed reservation to fish with us, we will be there. We are available to answer any questions as often as you need prior to your trip, anytime between 8 am and 8 pm EST @ 888-629-2277 or at any time via email.
Also, at any given time before or after making your reservation, you are able to talk directly to your guide, again the office staff is very well trained in all the areas, which provides quality time on the water for the guides.
What to expect on a fishing charter with a guarantee?
If at any time during the planning process if you feel you are ready to make a reservation it can be done conveniently online 24 hours a day on our online reservation system.
On the day of your trip, you will be greeted by one of our courteous and professional fishing guides at the pre-arranged location. (It varies from your hotel lobby, a local boat ramp, and/or a local marina.) You will also at this time have the opportunity to discuss what kind or style of fishing you would like to experience (fly fishing, artificial or live bait).
When meeting your guide he will recommend what baits and styles of fishing have been working best over the last couple of days. This is also a great time to pick up your fishing license if you haven’t done so. All of our boats have built-in coolers complete with ice and bottled water, awaiting your favorite beverage. Yes, alcoholic beverage is also permitted.
After our greeting and meeting, we will then proceed to our fishing “hot spot” on the lake, where our guides will assist and advise you on how to best catch the fish. While on the water you can be assured that we will work very hard to produce fish for you. We are constantly striving to raise the standard by which other guide services are measured, and we can only do so by providing the very best trip for you.
Also, understand we want you to enjoy your time on the water regardless if your reservation was for 4 hours or 8 hours. If you would like to extend your trip simply tell your guide and he will be happy to accommodate you.
If the day is not going as expected, maybe the weather is not cooperating you are not required to say out for your complete time, nor will you be billed for it. All trips will be adjusted to the actual time fished with a 4-hour minimum.
Committed to You
Once your trip is over, you will be taken back to the original meeting location. At this time you will settle your cost for your trip in full, less any deposits. If other payment arrangements have been made prior to your trip, your guide will be aware of it. You can use your credit card or feel free to pay cash or check.
Gratuity is not included in the trip, nor is it expected. Gratuity is something over and above payment that should be earned by your guide.
If you feel like you were not given the very best equipment and the very best effort on the part of your guide, please do not give a gratuity. However, if you would like to show your gratitude to your guide. A good standard tip is usually 15%, 20%, or higher. Again, this is entirely up to you and your party as to the amount, but please do not feel obligated in any way.
If you have any other questions or concerns about what to expect on a fishing charter trip, please feel free to contact us.
