BassOnline.com (“Site”) is operated by FloridaFishingNetwork, and its affiliated companies (“Company” or “we” or “us” or “our”). The terms “you” or “users” refer to those selling activities (i.e. guides, outfitters, marinas, and/or captains), Including potential customers or visitors who choose to use the Site (s).

Our Privacy Policy explains how the information collected about you is used for our company purposes. Third-party sites that may or may not be linked on the Site; Company is not responsible for those Site (s) or their Privacy Policy. We sway you to read all Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy notices provided by this Site and third-party Sites. Read more regarding our use of third-party sites in our Terms.

We consider the security of personal information a severe matter. Therefore, this Privacy Policy describes how all data is processed, stored, and protected in the United States. By using the Site or our Company Services (as defined below), you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

The Company does not knowingly process or store the personal information of children under the age of 18.

DATA GATHERED

To use our Site requires specific data (“Personal Data”). Which could be guest, traveling, or family members’ name, address, telephone, email, age, gender, or location. Personal information provided by you or the guest must only be done with such person’s prior consent. To complete a reservation of sale, we will require financial information (“Financial Data”) such as credit card account numbers or other acceptable payment methods. Financial Data and Personal Data will collectively be known as “Personal Information.” This Personal Information is collected either:

  1. By you inputting it into the Site.
  2. By the automatic collection of your Personal Data as you use the Site.
  3. When communicating via email or telephone messages.
  4. From third-party websites.

If you choose to opt out of providing such information, the use of the Site may be limited.

INTERNATIONAL TRANFER

Your information could be transferred or maintained on computers outside your state, country, province, or other governmental authority. In this case, the privacy laws may not be protected as in your jurisdiction. For example, suppose you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us. In that case, BassOnline transfers personal information in the United States and may use other sources not located in the United States to process your data. Your ongoing consent to this privacy policy is that your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND ENFORCEMENT

BassOnline cooperates with government, local and national law enforcement, or other parties to comply with the law. When required will disclose any information about you to law enforcement or the government, but not limited to other private parties, at our sole discretion if we believe responding to legal and claims processes or appropriate, which could include, but not limited to subpoenas. To protect the rights of BassOnline and third parties, protect the public safety of any person, stop the activity, or prevent any illegal, unethical we may consider posing a risk of being or legally actionable activity.

THROUGH THIRD-PARTY SITES

The Company may also legally obtain both Personal Information and Non-Personal Data (defined below) through third-party sites, including limited to social media sites but not limited to affiliated businesses. Personal information may include demographic information and/or purchase history. By using BassOnline.com, you agree to this collection of your Personal Information.

If you wish not to provide Personal Information at any time, you may contact Customer Service (see below) to complete a transaction.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may employ individuals to facilitate our third-party companies and Service(s). For example, to provide Application-related services, perform Site maintenance services, web analytics, fraud detection, and database management services on our behalf. In addition, we relate to the activity of BassOnline Users and the improvement of the Service’s features that assist in analyzing how Services are consumed.

These third parties will get access to Personal data; if they do, if access is granted, it’s only so that they may perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use data for any other purpose unless disclosed. We can also provide Personal Data to our partners or other trusted businesses to provide you with information on the services we believe are interesting to you. Opt-out can be done at any time on such communications.

NON-PERSONAL DATA GATHERED

The Company collects data regarding your domain servers, IP address, and mobile and tablet device details. This may include your location area code, zip code, time and duration of your use of the Site and navigation of the Site, search history, items viewed, and details of this Site. The information does not personally identify you (“Non-Personal Data”). The Company uses Non-Personal Data for business strategy and procedures. Non-Personal Data may be anonymized, aggregated, and retained indefinitely.

Through the use of cookies or web beacons, the Company may collect Personal Data and Non-Personal Data. Always read the section in the privacy policy below for more information.

DO NOT TRACK REQUESTS AND WEB BEACONS

Our Services contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs). They are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our Services are used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which recipients have opened emails and links. This allows gauging the effectiveness of our customer communications and marketing campaigns.

We do not honor or Do Not Track Requests.

PERSONAL SECURED INFORMATION

As required previously, we take the handling of your data vigorously. In place are reasonable and appropriate technical, physical, and administrative safeguards against unlawful collection and processing of your Personal Information. No system is entirely secure; however, we believe the measures implemented by the Site reduce vulnerability and security issues. We suggest you contribute to security safeguards by following the below suggestions:

  1. Prohibiting any unauthorized user access to your login or profile information.
  2. Restricting unauthorized user access to the Site via your device.
  3. Logging off-Site when not using
  4. Keep all user name access and Datamation, including passwords, private;
  5. Maintain updated security on your mobile device, tablet, or personal computer.

If you believe your data is compromised, please change your user name and password to continue to maintain our security safeguards.

The Company’s payment processing partners store all Financial Data; all financial transactions fall under their Privacy Policy, and they are contractually obligated to keep all Personal Information secure. Each Company receives transactional data to validate each sales transaction. Transactional numbers do not include Financial Data. All Personal data is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

LOG DATA

When you visit our Services, either as a Vendor or a non-registered User just browsing (any of these, a “BassOnline User”), our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a Site (“Log Data”). Data could include your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, web page, or browser type. In addition, pages, Services, or features of our Services visited or used, the time spent on those pages, the information you search, dates, access time statistics.

We use this information to analyze the use of the Services and monitor and for the technical administration of the Services. Increase the user-friendliness and functionality of the Services, and better tailor our Services to our visitor’s needs. We also use this information to verify that visitors to the Services meet the criteria required to process their requests.

We do not treat Log Data as Personal Information or use it in association with other Personal Information. However, we may aggregate, analyze and evaluate such information for the same purposes as stated above regarding additional Non-Identifying Information.

PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSED

All users should note that their data is stored and processed within the United States. Data protection and laws of the United States may not be comprehensive in your country. By using Site, you agree that your data will be transferred to our facilities located in the United States.

The Company uses your Personal Information and Non-Personal Data for various purposes, including, but not limited to:

  • Providing Service on the Site (s) support for Company Services
  • Related communication with users, but not limited to, Site updates, transactions, or services.
  • Measuring, Improving, customizing, or reporting on the Site, the Company Services, and marketing strategies.
  • Marketing, advertising, or promoting the Site Services.
  • Working with sites Services rendered or to be rendered.
  • Sharing customer data with operators or operators with Company has a relationship as a service provider.
  • Updating records, accuracy, and verifying third-party sites;
  • Investigating prosecuting any user, we suspect of harmful, unlawful, or illegal activity;
  • Enforcing the Company’s Terms Agreement, this Privacy Policy referenced therein or herein.

Site sales, activity, and other statistics are collected and combined with third-party sites to improve the Company’s business strategy and the Site’s improvement.

CHANGING OR DELETING INFORMATION

All Users and Vendors may update, review, or correct Personal data by editing relevant parts of the profile. Do so by contacting us via cs@bassonline.com. Additionally, if you would like to cancel your BassOnline, please contact us via cs@bassonline.com. Please note that if you cancel your BassOnline Account, any past booking, notes, and reviews that have been posted via past Services will remain publicly listed.

PERSONAL DISCLOSED INFORMATION

A company can disclose Personal Information at our discretion, for reasons including, but not limited to;

  1. Enforcing our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use Agreement, or other policy referenced therein or herein;
  2. Responding, either in good faith or applicable law a request from governmental authority or law enforcement;
  3. Actual or proposed litigation, in connection;
  4. Protecting Company as affiliates, users, the Site, other rights or interests.

The Company can disclose your data, without consent, to others, including, but not limited to:

  • An affiliate, if you have requested services;
  • Another user, if you agreed to do business with a partner;
  • A third-party site performing services as a marketing partner;

Users may access the Site via a hyperlink from one of many Site affiliates. Even if so, you agree your Personal Data and Non-Personal Data can be shared with partner businesses with this contractual agreement.

If Company has a merger or is sold to another company, you agree your Personal Data and Non-Personal Data will be transferred as an asset. Likewise, your Personal Data and Non-Personal Data may be passed on to a successor in the unlikely event of a liquidation or bankruptcy.

COMMUNICATION

The Company holds the right to change communications to Site users to enhance Company Services. Communications include email, text messages, or phone calls. You may opt-out of communications anytime. Read the relevant section below for more information.

LOCATION DATA

When you use the iOutdoors mobile app by BassOnline, iOutdoors may collect and process information about your actual location. We use GPS coordinates to determine your location while using the app or while it is turned on in the background. We use this information to better tailor our services to you and others. This information will not be shared with third parties unless in compliance with a lawful government request or legal process or unless you request for us to do so.

MONITORING ALL CALLS

All telephone calls made to or from Company may be recorded, transcribed, stored, accessed, used, transmitted, and disseminated to train or improve the Site and/or our services. Using the Site, you approve the process, so you agree to no reasonable objection to monitoring inbound or outbound phone calls with the Company.

Telephone calls are not considered confidential communications, and call monitoring is within the Company’s everyday practices. This Privacy Policy governs all call monitoring, and call data is kept with the same safeguarded measures as all other Personal Information. By using the Site, you hereby agree to the Company monitoring of calls.

BETWEEN USERS COMMUNICATION

Users may communicate over Company Services via tools made available on the Site. For example, if customers choose to reserve an activity with an operator, the customer’s Personal Data will be made available to that operator. Suppose an operator contacts a customer via telephone or text message. In that case, we hold the right to share your information with a potential customer. It is recommended that you do not share any personal data or access to such data.

In no coincidence ever share Financial Data or any form of communication.

PHISHING

A fraudulent practice of online identity theft is called “Phishing,” including, but not limited to, fake emails appearing to be sent by our Company from reputable companies. Any unauthorized persons asking for your Personal data information should be taken seriously. If you receive a suspicious text, phone call, or email asking for Personal Information, do not give it. Instead, contact our cs department immediately to continue to maintain our security safeguards.

Our Company or partner companies WILL NOT ask for this type of data via email. Once you receive such an email, do not open or reply to the email, and do not click on any attachments. Safeguarding your data must be your top priority. Visit the Federal Trade Commission’s Site at http://www.ftc.gov  for more information.

PERSONAL DATA STORED

The Company will store your data for as long as is needed, which is appropriate for the purposes you consent to under the Terms of Use Agreement. This Privacy Policy and any other purpose referenced therein or herein. When your data is deleted from our system, it will no longer be retrievable to reconstructed.

SURVEYS

The Company may occasionally request users to complete a survey. We value users’ input to evaluate our services, existing and potential features, and marketing strategies. All users have the option to participate in each survey or not. Any data gathered from a survey is non-confidential and may be used for our service improvement and strategies.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

This permits users residing in California, by law, to request certain information regarding disclosing their Personal Information by the Company and its affiliates to third-party sites for direct marketing purposes. To submit such a request, contact us via the information found below.

COOKIES

Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies for two purposes. First, we utilize persistent cookies to save your login information for future logins to the Services. Second, we utilize session ID cookies to enable certain Services’ features, better understand how you interact with the Services, and monitor aggregate usage by BassOnline Users and web traffic routing on the Services.

Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Services and then close your browser. Third-party advertisers on the Services may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the Sites you visit. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all portions or functionality of the Service.

AdWords Remarketing is a Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting service provided by Google. It connects the activity of BassOnline.com with the Adwords advertising network and the Doubleclick Cookie. You can opt-out of the cookie tracking here: http://optout.aboutads.info/.

OPTING OUT

Users may choose not to provide Personal data, but the use of the Site may be then limited.

Users may receive phone calls and marketing emails from the Company (including, but not limited to: promotions, discounts, and/or surveys); users may opt out of receiving communications by (a) contacting Customer Support or (b) selecting “Unsubscribe” from marketing communications. However, users cannot opt-out of receiving targeted ads presented to them through our Site (s); these are controlled by after-market companies such as Facebook, Google, and Instagram, among others.

PERSONAL DATA UPDATED

It’s always your responsibility to key your data as current and accurate as possible. Access the profile, reservations, listing, or account details and enter your up-to-date and accurate data. If the Company is informed of any inaccurate Personal Information, we will verify and update with the User’s consent. To verify the user account, you may be required to provide us with Personal Information before accessing your Account. We withhold the right not to accommodate a request if, in good faith, we believe edits would violate the law or legal requirement or cause the data to be incorrect.

OUR POLICY TOWARD CHILDREN

The Application and Site are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with Personal Data without their consent, they should contact us; please notify us via cs@bassonline.com so that we may delete such information from our files.

Information is gathered when you communicate with us and/or other BassOnline Users and how we use it.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Overview: The Services are used to facilitate booking and listing activities. Listings for such activities are made available via the Services by Vendor. In addition, listings posted by Vendors include ratings and reviews from Customers. Profile Information (defined below) of Customers and vendors is visible to any BassOnline user.

ANALYZING YOUR COMMUNICATIONS

We may review, scan, analyze and store all communication (including emails, phone calls, messages, etc.) sent or received using BassOnline/iOutdoors communication tools. Including communications with other Users for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research, and customer support purposes. For example, as part of our fraud prevention efforts, we scan and analyze messages to mask any information of references not supporting our mission or supporting our Sites.

In some cases, we may also check, review, or analyze messages to debug, improve and expand product offerings. Automated methods are used whenever reasonably possible; however, we may need to review some communications occasionally manually. This may be done to provide customer support, conduct fraud investigations, and assess and improve the functionality of these automated tools. We will not review, scan, analyze or store your communications to send third-party marketing messages to you, and we will not sell reviews or analyses of these communications.

We reserve the right to block the delivery of or review communications that we, at our sole discretion, believe may contain malicious content, spam, or that may pose a risk to you, our Users, BassOnline, or others.

These communications and their contents may be disclosed in response to lawful government requests or legal processes. In other circumstances in which we have a good faith belief that a crime has been committed by use of our services. That an emergency exists poses a threat to the safety of our users or another person. If necessary, to protect our rights or property, or for us to render the Service, you have requested.

USER-VENDOR COMMUNICATIONS

You agree that, with respect to other Vendors’ or Users’ personal information that you obtain directly or indirectly from or through the Site or any Site-related communication, transaction, or software, we have granted you a license to use such information only for:

  1. Site-related unsolicited commercial messages communications 
  2. Use services offered through the Site and inquire about facilitating a transaction between you and the other Vendor or User related to the Site’s purpose.

Any other purpose will require express permission from the User and written permission from a BassOnline/iOutdoors representative. In addition, you may not use any such information for any unlawful purpose or unlawful intent. For example, suppose it is discovered that a vendor uses customer information obtained through BassOnline to book the customer directly and avoid paying BassOnline commission. In that case, this will result in the termination of the Vendor’s Account.

EMAILING VIA ACCOUNT AND INSTANT MESSAGING

As part of the Service, BassOnline Users may communicate with BassOnline Vendors (captains) through the integrated chat feature on the Site, direct messaging, or the iOutdoors App feature on the Services. Suppose the functionality exists for BassOnline Users to have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form. In that case, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from BassOnline to those email addresses on their behalf.

BASS ONLINE VENDORS AND CUSTOMERS

VENDORS

When you create a BassOnline Account, we will set up a BassOnline Account profile page for you. Your BassOnline Account profile page will include your first name and last name, connections you have established between your Account and any TPAs, and a biography and links to your Listings. In addition, you can select the other items of Personal Information that you wish to be included in your BassOnline Account profile page – including, but not limited to, a profile picture or additional information known as your “profile data.”

We may display profile data on your website(s) Account profile page publicly via the Services, and with your prior permission, on third-party sites. Any information you provide as part of your Profile Information will be publicly visible to all BassOnline Users and should reflect how much you want other BassOnline Users to know about you. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information, and we encourage Vendors to think carefully about what information about themselves they disclose on their profile pages. You can review and revise your Profile information at any time.

CUSTOMERS

We will set up an account profile page when you create a BassOnline/iOutdoors Account. Your iOutdoors Account profile page will include your first name and last name and connections you have established between your Account and any TPAs. In addition, you can select the other items of Personal Information that you wish to be included in your BassOnline Account profile page, including, but not limited to, a profile picture or additional information known as your “Profile Information.” Any information you provide as part of your profile information.

It will be visible to Vendors with whom you choose to interact and on any public reviews you post and consequently should reflect how much you want other BassOnline Users to know about you. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information, and we encourage Customers to think carefully about what information about themselves they disclose on their profile pages. You can review and revise your Profile information at any time.

PROFILE LISTING

If you ask for posted listing, we have the right to publish that listing. Making it public via the Services enables third parties to publish a listing on their Site. This can be through API or the use of HTML “widgets.” You also agree with displaying the geographical area of a listing.

If a request to make a reservation via the Services, BassOnline will share the following information about you with the applicable vendor:

  1. Your first and last name
  2. A link to your BassOnline Account profile page where the vendor can view your booking history, reviews, and description.

This data enables the vendor to decide to confirm or reject all. When a Vendor confirms a reservation, we may share pieces of the vendor-identified data. It could include and is not limited to full name, phone number, the vendor’s address, and the vendor email address.

Likewise, with the applicable User selected by the vendor, we share pieces of a User’s data information with Vendors, including, but not limited to, phone number, email, and full name. The system does allow Users and Vendors to contact each other directly. In no data transfer is billing information shared with a Vendor.

LINKS TO AND FROM OTHER WEBSITE(S)

Our website(s) Services contain links to other sites. Suppose you choose to click links and visit these Sites by “clicking on” another third-party link. You may be redirected to another third-party website(s). Even though we link, it does not mean we endorse, authorize, or represent an affiliation of third-party Site(s). We also do not support their privacy, security policies, or practices.

SECURITY

BassOnline.com is always concerned with the security of data. When entering sensitive data (such as credit card info) on any registration forms, we will encrypt that data using secure layer technology (SSL). In addition, we follow general industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Understand, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions regarding the safety and security of our Services, you can contact us via cs@bassonline.com.

We will disclosure of any breach of confidentiality, security, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored “personal data” without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with

ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT

BassOnline/iOutdoors has the right to access any Account to make changes to reservations listings or profile information at its sole discretion.

The Company may, at our sole discretion, update this Privacy Policy. The date reflects the most recent version. Our Privacy Policy revisions are active once posted on the Site. Therefore, you are encouraged to review our Privacy Policy regularly.
