Captain Brent Nelson has been fishing for years on Lake Toho. One of the many pleasures of being a guide is the ability to connect with new visitors on a daily basis. Captain Brent had the pleasure of fishing with junior world record holder Keegan Rothman and his father Dan. They were traveling from New Jersey looking for a great time on the water and they got it.

Family Fun Together

The bite was slightly slower than normal with high skies and light winds but they managed to still land some quality bass. Keegan and Dan landed over 25 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. The most effective bait was wild caught live shiners. Summertime pattern is here and you can catch them strong in open water on either live or artificial baits.

Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Keegan and Dan again in the future!

Shortly after this fishing charter, Captain John Leech adventured out fishing with Kevin and Ken. Bass Fishing on Lake Toho has been a blessing with great catches. Kevin and Ken were 80 years old celebrating their 60th anniversary. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was a must experience for them on this special occasion.

Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective again going through 6 dozen. Kevin caught a big largemouth bass weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces. They had a fantastic time out on the water. When the bite is strong, you have to come fish this amazing lake. There are so many spots and areas to explore.

Captain John is looking forward to another great time catching them up with Kevin and Ken!

Gary and his buddy Bob came out fishing with Captain John on Lake Toho not too long after his last trip. It was an early morning trip before storms rolled through. Gary and Bob spent 4 hours out on Lake Toho and crushed the largemouth bass. You never know what you are going to get when bass fishing in Central Florida.

Gary and Bob landed over 20 bass with the biggest weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. Once you start the bite and get them warmed up, they just keep coming. Summertime bite is picking up and will continue to get better. Gary and Bob really enjoyed the scenery and lake views on this Kissimmee Bass Fishing Charters.

Captain John is looking forward to fishing with these amazing gentlemen again in the future.

Extending the Fun Matters

Captain John has been fishing on Lake Toho for a long time. One of his favorite parts about being a Captain and guide is the ability to teach and share his love for fishing with his clients. Peter brought out his twin daughters for a fishing trip of a lifetime on Lake Toho. Peter was hilarious and kept the fishing trip light and fun.

They were traveling from New Hampshire on a family vacation and wanted to get out on the water. Bass Fishing is a great way to introduce young kids to the outdoors. Peter was taking a break from helping the community being a Doctor. It truly was a blessed fishing trip with double big bass.

The bite was non-stop. It was one after another. Peter and his daughters had a great time out on the water. They caught numbers of quality largemouth bass with two weighings 6 and 6 pounds 12 ounces in one net. You truly can’t beat that.

Captain John is most certainly looking forward to getting them out on the water again to top this incredible fishing trip.

When it comes down to it, Lake Toho Bass Fishing is by far the best outdoor Kissimmee Fishing you can experience. Largemouth Bass can be caught in numbers and size. Whether you have kids or just want to adventure out on your own, this is the perfect Central Florida Fishing Destination. Several key locations have been producing great fishing. If you are in Central Florida, Lake Toho has been on fire with big bass being caught daily. Lake Okeechobee also has been amazing especially out of Clewiston, Florida. South Florida fishing for Peacock Bass has also been ultra-productive in Miami on Airport Lakes.

Starting from North to South, Central Florida is a hot spot for bass fishing. Captain Brent Nelson is a local expert that understands and fishes Lake Toho on a daily basis. When you are looking to experience Kissimmee, Lake Toho Bass Fishing is all you need.

Jason and Greg were traveling from Colorado to explore what the Lake had to offer. They went out on a quick 4-hour fishing trip catching great numbers. Artificial and live baits were effective on this fishing charter. Captain Brent took them to the spots that were producing.

Jason and Greg landed 30 bass in 4 hours with the biggest largemouth bass weighing 7.23 pounds. 8 of those fish came on artificial baits. The baits that were working the best were Zoom speed worms and super flukes. When you fish these baits over sparse Kissimmee grass, you are able to entice a great bite.

Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again.

The afternoon brought about some more amazing action. Captain Brent had the pleasure of fishing with Kim who was traveling from North Dakota to catch some big bass. When you fish Lake Toho, your first fish can be the best one you have ever caught. Kim landed a 6-pound largemouth bass which ended up being her personal best.

Along with these big bass, she also caught around 30 fish. Overcast and breezy conditions allowed for a strong bite. It kept the day cooler. Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective on this fishing trip.

Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Kim next time she wants to Experience Kissimmee.
June Weekend Bass Fishing 4

Traveling just a short drive further south, Lake Okeechobee was heating up. Captain Mark Shepard spent all weekend on the water with his long-time friend and valued client, Jim Robertson. Jim loves to throw artificial baits and that’s what we targeted most of the fishing charters.

Spinnerbaits and topwater baits were highly effective on this fishing trip. Jim caught several quality largemouth bass in the weight range of 3-4 pounds. He loves to just set the hook but is always ready to land that giant that resides and lives on Lake Okeechobee. Stay tuned for more action from the Big O coming soon on our next June Weekend Bass Fishing report!

Dewayne and Kolby were traveling to Kissimmee to enjoy some family time and took a break to fish Lake Toho in the morning. These guys really knew how to fish and put some quality bass in the boat.

Kissimmee Florida Fishing Charter Report

Summertime bass fishing calls for live wild-caught shiners along with several artificial baits. Rainy days allow fluctuations in water levels as Florida Water Management moves it in and out. When the water is low, you tend to find the bass schooled in key areas on the lake.

Kolby landed his personal best on a shiner weighing in at 8 pounds. They also caught several-quality fish on flukes and speed worms. If you are looking for excellent fishing, give Lake Toho a shot and be wondered by the success. Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Kolby again in the future.

Shortly after this trip, Captain Brent went out fishing with Ryan and his son Max. One of the pleasures of being a fishing Captain especially for bass fishing is when Fathers and Sons come out fishing. The action was hot and heavy right from the start. Morning time bass fishing is the best time to get out on the water.

Kissimmee Florida Fishing Trip Report

Ryan and Max were fishing a quick 4-hour fishing trip before heading back to the family. 4 hours was all they needed catching over 20 bass weighing up to 4 pounds. Captain Brent targeted schooling fish. We are looking forward to when they come back to Visit Central Florida again to land several more quality largemouth bass.

Afternoon Fishing Trips can also produce an excellent bite this time of year. Captain Devin fished with two men that wanted to change things up. They started with artificial baits and ended with shiners. Zoom Speedworms and Shad colored spinnerbaits put numbers of bass in the boat.

As the sun was starting to go down, the action picked up again. These men put a 5 pounder in the boat on artificial baits but the best fish was to come last. While boating 20 plus largemouth bass, they also caught a 6 pounder to top the day off.

Whether the morning or afternoon trip fits your schedule the best, you will still produce great fish. Also, the temperatures will be lower than in the middle of the day if you stick to sunrise and sunset fishing trips. Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again in the future.
