It was an action-packed day on the water for Dan and his wife. Everyone dreams of days on the water like this one. Dan’s wife caught fish after fish weighing from 4-5 pounds. It was a test to what was to come for Dan. When fish bite like this, you know that the trophy bass are around.
Before they ran out of livebait, Dan lands an absolute trophy bass weighing 8.9 pounds. The amount of excitement and fun both Dan and his wife had catching the quality that they did. Big Bass like such can really make your fishing dream one for the books. After the live bait was used up, they switched over to artificial baits but the bite was much slower.

Dan and his wife had a fantastic dream fishing trip. They are looking forward to the next opportunity to catch big bass again with Captain John.
Captain John Adventured out on another amazing trip shortly after on the Butler Chain of Lakes. Derek Carpenter and his buddy went out on a morning fishing trip and has a great time. The Butler Chain is a clear lake that is absolutely gorgeous this time of year.
On this fishing trip, there was a strong morning bite and they went through 6 dozen wild-caught live shiners. These were two funny young men that loved to catch Florida largemouth bass. They were in search for big bass!
Derek and his buddy were not as blessed as the previous trip but they did catch several quality largemouth bass weighing up to 5.5 pounds. Captain John had a blast watching these young men get excited over catching bass. We will be looking forward to doing it again in the future.
Captain John has been blessed with several unbelievable fishing adventures. On this next trip, Adam and his father adventure out on the Butler Chain of Lakes again in Windermere, Florida. They caught a bunch of quality largemouth bass.

Unfortunately, Orlando was affected strongly with horrible weather this season. Their first scheduled trip was rescheduled to a later date and they were sure glad it was. Adam, a young fisherman that knew how to bass fishing really put in some excellent fishing.
Adam landed a monster largemouth bass weighing 6.4 pounds. He could not have been more excited to reel in this fish of a lifetime. Quality bass will be consistently caught in the upcoming warmer months. Captain John had a fantastic time again with this father and son and will be looking forward to adventuring out with them in the future.
