More specifically, the best months are from late February to June (and, some years, even November) are when the weather cools off for an early winter.

How much is a 3 day fishing license in Florida?
The freshwater fishing license is available to Florida residents and Nonresidents alike. Anglers must purchase a regular resident or nonresident freshwater fishing license at $17 for three days, $30 for seven days, or $47 for one year, regardless of whether they fish from shore or a vessel.
Do senior citizens need a fishing license in Florida?
Florida residents age 65 or older only need a Florida Driver License or Identification Card to prove residency and age. They are not required to purchase the following recreational licenses and permits: Saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, and hunting licenses.
Florida NonResidents are required to have a license, exceptions are only for full-time Florida residents.
How do people dress for fishing charter?
In layers is best, but fishing is casual. A sundress for ladies with bikini underneath is not uncommon.
