Captain Brian Brown had the pleasure of fishing with Scott and his two sons, Tom and Adam. Tom is the oldest and Adam is the youngest. This dynamic called for some sibling competition and a lot of fun on the boat. Scott was moving his RV down here and wanted to get out on the water. They were traveling from New Hampshire and Lake Okeechobee was on the list to do before Scott’s sons left town.
Lake Okeechobee really showed up for them on this fishing trip. It gave them a true glimpse of all the possibilities. Fishing conditions were calm with a lot of wildlife out on the prowl. They got to see numerous alligators along with aquatic birds. Okeechobee City is a beautiful place to visit especially if you want to catch largemouth bass.
Wild caught live shiners were the most effective method to catch bass on this fishing trip. Scott, Tom and Adam caught 12 quality largemouth bass along with a giant mudfish, catfish and gar. It was an action filled trip with a lot of different fishing locations. They moved 5 different times to get a change of scenery along with locate the fish. 
Captain Brian is looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again in the future!
Just shortly after this awesome fishing trip, Captain Robert Alfano adventure out of Okeechobee City. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dale and his grandson. They were traveling from Idaho to hunt down some incredible largemouth bass. Lake Okeechobee was something Dale wanted to share with his grandson.
The fishing conditions turned out much better on this fishing trip. Bass were biting all trip long. The best method to catch Lake Okeechobee bass is wild caught live shiners. Dale got his grandson hooked on bass fishing now especially after landing an anchor 5 pound largemouth bass. You can’t ask for better action with a nice bass like that to end off a great trip.
Captain Rob is looking forward to another great adventure with this family again in the future!

November Okeechobee Fishing Report
Lake Okeechobee is a world-renowned fishery known for its incredible largemouth bass fishing. Every year and month you can catch trophy bass while adventuring out. Now is a great time of year to search for the bass of your dreams as the lake is looking fantastic.
Big Bass season is right around the corner and we would not want you to miss out on the action. Here is your November Okeechobee fishing report to give you some insight.
Lake Okeechobee has 3 key locations to catch largemouth bass. The most north location is Okeechobee City. On the southwest side, you can fish out of Clewiston. The east side holds a unique fishing camp that is a great location to visit and experience the town of Belle Glade.
Slims fish camp is the perfect location for you if you are traveling from South Florida. If you are coming from North Florida or Central, be sure to check out Okeechobee City. For those that inhabit the west coast, Clewiston may be your best bet depending on how far north you live or are traveling to.
The good fishing continued

Captain Brian Brown had the pleasure of fishing with Tera and her boyfriend Trice. They were traveling from Utah looking to experience what Lake Okeechobee was all about. This was a bucket list item for Trice as they love to fish in Utah. Always hearing about big bass, they had to see what Lake Okeechobee could do for them out of Belle Glade and Slims Fish Camp.
Tera and her boyfriend Trice spent 8 hours on the water and had a blast. It is always nice for Captain Brian to be able to introduce new people to this amazing place. There is nothing like Lake Okeechobee. Unfortunately though, the bite was tougher than normal. They caught some good numbers throughout the day along with missing a few. No giants made it to the boat.
Only Like Okeechobee Can
Tera and Trice enjoyed a change of scenery and can’t wait to come back for that big bass. After their fishing trip, they went down to Miami to explore what the waters would do for them. They wanted to land a peacock bass as well! Captain Brian is looking forward to their next opportunity to go fishing.
Just shortly after this amazing fishing trip, Captain Robert Alfano explored the waters of Clewiston, Florida. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dan Flynn along with his cousins Dave, Doug, and another Dave. They were traveling from Pennsylvania, Florida, and Wisconsin looking to get in on some action on Lake Okeechobee.
These gentlemen fished two days on the Big O catching some big numbers. On the first day they caught 50 largemouth bass and on the second day they came in with 30 fish. Most of the bass were in the 1-3 pound range with an anchored big bass weighing 6 pounds. The action came from the outside Kissimmee grass on the north end of the Clewiston channel.
Clewiston Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee is picking up and Captain Rob is looking forward to fishing with these guys again!
Right after this fantastic fishing trip, Captain Mike Groshon adventured out with repeat clients out of Okeechobee City. It is always an honor and pleasure to get to fish with repeat clients. Drew and Whitney are back for more Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing action bringing along Whitney’s parents Tim and Shelly. It was their first time fishing the lake.
The morning bite was steady and strong bringing several quality bass to the boat. Shelly landed and caught her fist largemouth ever. The fishing conditions were perfect with light winds out of the east with bluebird skies. It was a great family fishing day with memories that will last them a lifetime.

Shallow Water Fishing Charters
If you love bass fishing and haven’t fished Lake Okeechobee, you are missing out. Late fall months like these are prime time to catch some quality Florida largemouth bass while visiting. Shallow water bass fishing produced big time this month. The largemouth bass are starting to get fired up and ready for their winter spawns.

Captain Rob had the pleasure of fishing with Nicholas. He was traveling from Kansas City, Kansas in search of a great time on the water. Visiting Lake Okeechobee has been on the top of his list and we made it happen for him. It was a quick 4-hour fishing trip but that was all he needed to get the full experience.
Nicholas had a lot of laughs and fun fishing with Captain Rob. They boated over 10 largemouth bass. The trophy bass eluded Nicholas on this fishing trip but that did not stop him from having a great time. Clear bluebird skies made for an absolutely beautiful day on Lake Okeechobee. Belle Glade is a great place to come fish when you want to explore all that the big O has to offer out of Slims Fish Camp.

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Rob adventure out in a different location. When you are visiting, make sure you mix it up and get out in the outdoors. A Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing adventure is a great way to do so! After spending time in Belle Glade, Captain Rob headed over to Clewiston where he had the pleasure of fishing with Trent and Ryan. They were in store for an excellent day of bass fishing.

Trent and Ryan were traveling from Brooksville, Kentucky looking to catch some big bass. The early morning was very successful at putting some keeper bass in the boat. When you are fishing early morning, make sure you focus on the outside grass lines. Throw topwater or swimbaits to have the most success.
After spending some time throwing artificial baits, switch over to live bait. Wild-caught live shiners are the most successful technique for catching big bass on Lake Okeechobee. This is their natural forage and you never know when that trophy will bite. Trent and Ryan moved into shallower water to find some big fish. In search, they found what they were looking for with 3 bass in the 4-5 pound range. You can’t beat the action here on Lake Okeechobee!
Captain Brian had an absolute blast fishing with Trent and Ryan. He is looking forward to their next adventure that he knows will be soon while Clewiston Bass Fishing!

Captain Robert Alfano is one of the best Captains on the north end of the Lake out of Okeechobee City. Heath and Patrick came out fishing looking for some quality Lake Okeechobee Largemouth Bass Fishing. They were in the store for an amazing day.
Heath and Patrick adventured out for a quick 4-hour fishing trip catching 30 bass. Fish were held in skinny water and wherever the water was the cleanest. Lake Okeechobee Bass are concentrating and schooling up this time of year which is the perfect time to come catch them. If you find clean water, you are most certainly going to find some bass.
Captain Rob is looking forward to the next time Heath and Patrick adventure south and wants to catch some Lake Okeechobee Bass.
It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Rob went out on the water again with Richard aka “Dickie.” Dickie was traveling from Iowa looking to catch some Largemouth Bass on Lake Okeechobee. The Big O did not disappoint with another amazing fishing trip in the books.
Dickie landed 31 quality largemouth bass with the biggest fish weighing 5 pounds. Water level fluctuations have the bass on the move. Continue to find cleaner water and you will find the bass. Captain Rob knows where all the hidden clean water spots are and can help you find the fish.
Dickie is looking forward to the next time he can get out on the water with Captain Rob in Okeechobee City.
Clewiston, Florida is home to some of the BEST bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Even though you can catch quality bass all around the lake, the big fish like to stock up down south. Captain Mark Shepard knows Clewiston Bass Fishing better than anyone on the Lake. Years of experience can provide insightful clues on where the largemouth bass will be during all times of the year.
Joe was traveling from Washington D.C. looking for a true Lake Okeechobee Fishing Adventure. He wanted to spend three days on the lake with his good friend, Captain Mark. Taking a break from the restaurant industry, a Summer Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Trip was the perfect fit for him. Joe is a great American hero and a retired vet from the Military and loves to bass fish.
We had a fantastic time fishing with Joe with some great numbers in the boat. Joe caught a lot of 3-4 pounders with fish up to 6 pounds. A mix of live wild-caught shiners along with artificial baits including topwater, worms, and lipless crankbaits put bass in the boat. These summertime largemouth bass are pulling hard and providing fun trips for our clients.
