Paul and Kim really got the chance to relax and enjoy the scenery. This was Kim’s first time on Lake Okeechobee. It showed them a fantastic time and some big bass.
Paul really wanted to come back to Lake Okeechobee and beat his personal record. In the past, Captain Mark put him on a fish that was a little over 6 pounds. He was ecstatic about that one but this trip provided even better.

Just shortly after this fishing trip, one of our first Florida cold fronts rolled through. Danny and his wife Alyssa, enjoyed the cooler weather as they knew it would turn on the bass. They were traveling from Indiana looking to catch some fish on Lake Okeechobee.
Captain Mark had the pleasure of taking them out. Windy conditions made for an interesting day on the water. Once they set up at their first fishing spot, the action was on.
Danny and Alyssa enjoyed catching largemouth bass on live bait and artificial. It was a nice trip for them and they had a great time catching number of fish. Alyssa came in strong with a bass weighing over 4 pounds.
You could tell that these fish were fresh off the main lake. That is an exciting sign for anglers and captains as it signs the season is about to begin.
