Captain John Leech had the pleasure of fishing with Claudio. Claudio was traveling from Brazil looking to explore what Kissimmee had to offer. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was a great option for him. Claudio did not speak very good English nor did Captain John speak very good Portuguese. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t speak very great English, it is not a requirement when fishing here in Florida with our local experts.
Claudio had a great day on the water. He caught 37 largemouth bass with wild-caught live shiners. The biggest bass weighed between 4-5 pounds. Claudio was ecstatic with this afternoon of fishing and had a fantastic time. He will be back for more action and Captain John is looking forward to their next adventure on Lake Toho.
Then it all begins
Shortly after this fishing trip, Captain John adventured back out on Lake Toho. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Antonio. Antonio was traveling from Spain looking to catch some Florida largemouth bass. Yet again, Captain John communicated with Antonio the best he could.
Antonio wanted to do a 50/50 trip with artificial and live bait. The first two hours were with artificial baits. Antonio caught 2 fish on swimbaits. After spending some time with artificial baits, Captain John took Antonio to the shiner spots. It was jammed packed with action and great bass.
Antonio caught his biggest bass ever on this fishing trip. It weighed between 5.5-6 pounds. He had a great time fishing here in Kissimmee, FL, and will be back soon. The action can’t be beaten and Captain John is looking forward to their next adventure!
That same afternoon, Captain Devin Dickerson explored Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with AJ and AU. They were traveling from Chicago looking to see what Florida bass fishing had to offer. It was a quick 4-hour fishing trip in the afternoon. These gentlemen caught 10 Florida largemouths on wild-caught live shiners. The biggest bass weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces. Both of these guys caught their personal best and they could not have been more excited.
AJ and AU will be back for more action in the near future. Captain Brent is looking forward to getting back out there with them for some even bigger fish.
Capt Steve with Action Pack Trip
Just shortly after this fishing adventure, Captain Steve Niemoeller explored Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with Lee. Lee was traveling from Washington State and loves to fish. While visiting Central Florida, bass fishing was a must. Captain Steve and Lee spent 8 hours on the water throwing artificial baits.
The artificial fishing was slower than expected. Lee caught 5 bass on artificial baits. Luckily, Captain Steve brought out wild-caught live shiners as well. The bass was blowing up on the shiners making for lots of great action. Lee enjoyed catching over 20 largemouth bass to end the day. If you are looking for consistent and steady action, live bait is the way to go.
Captain Steve is looking forward to fishing with Lee again in the near future!
It was not long after this fishing trip that Steve went back out on the lake. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Lail and his son and nephew. They were traveling from West Virginia on a family vacation. While doing so, they wanted to experience fishing live bait. Our updates and reports intrigued them to come to explore and see what it is all about.
The boys on this fishing trip caught their first fish as well. After that, it got very competitive and the fun began. This family had a great time on the water while fishing with Captain Steve. They caught over 20 largemouth bass and learned how to fish with wild-caught shiners. Captain Steve loves to teach and educate those that are willing to learn.
International Travelers have Great Bass Fishing Trip

Captain Steve was back out on the water that afternoon for a quick 4-hour fishing trip. He had the pleasure of fishing with Andrea, Shawn, and his son Shane. They were traveling from Atlanta looking to catch some Florida bass. Fishing was something they wanted to experience more of. They spent some time on the coast but not in freshwater. After watching a lot of bass fishing on TV, they were itching to explore all that Florida has to offer.

Wild-caught shiners were the most effective method on this fishing trip. Everyone was yet again competing against each other. It made for a great fishing trip and a lot of laughs. They caught some great numbers with most of the bass ranging from 1-3 pounds. Captain Steve is looking forward to them coming back and exploring what else Florida has to offer.

It was an early morning 4-hour fishing trip with a lot of great action. Most of the fish were around shiner poles and the windy conditions moved the bait around quite a bite.
Kevin had a fantastic time catching over 35 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Devin adventured out on Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with repeat clients, Alan and Derick. They were traveling from New Jersey hoping to get into some incredible bass fishing. Lake Toho had something special in store for them. It was a quick 4-hour fishing trip jammed packed with action.
A cold and windy start made for some interesting conditions. If you can stay patient and allow the local expert to do his work, you can get on the fish you are after. Captain Brent got Derick on a fish of a lifetime. Derick caught his personal best largemouth bass on this fishing trip weighing 8.5-pounds.
Alan and Derick will be back for another amazing experience in Kissimmee, FL. They had a fantastic time and you just could not beat the action on this fishing trip. Wild-caught shiners were the most effective method. Captain Brent is looking forward to getting back out on the water soon!

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Steve Niemoeller adventured out on Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dave, who was traveling from Albany, NY looking to get himself into some bass fishing. Dave has fished a lot of tournaments and wanted to tackle Lake Toho with artificial baits. The colder weather had the bass up under mats and Dave caught several flipping. After watching several tournaments on this lake, he wanted to take a swing at it himself.
Amazing Month of Fishing
When the bite slowed down, live bait came into play. Dave had a great time catching bass on his 6-hour fishing trip. He caught largemouth bass up to 4-pounds. Dave will be back for more of this awesome action in the near future and Captain Steve is looking forward to showing him around.
Captain Steve returned to Lake Toho for another fishing adventure with Justin and Ron from West Palm Beach. Due to low water levels at Kenansville Lake, they opted for Lake Toho instead. During their trip, they caught 10 crappies and 10 largemouth bass, with the largest weighing 5 pounds. Lake Toho is currently offering excellent bass fishing opportunities, especially when using live shiners in January.
Justin and Ron had a great time fishing on Lake Toho with Captain Steve and are looking forward to coming back in the near future.
Captain Success
Captain Steve adventured out with long-time repeat clients Bill and Dave. Bill was traveling from Alabama and Dave was traveling from New Smyrna Beach, FL. They have been fishing with Steve for over 5 years. One of the best parts about being a fishing captain is fishing with repeat clients. Captain Steve loves to catch up and enjoy time on the water with old friends.

Lake Toho Bass Fishing has been excellent and the bite was super strong on this fishing trip. Bill and Dave caught over 50 Florida largemouth bass with several over 5 pounds. They were catching bass back to back with several triple hookups.
Bill and Dave always enjoy getting out with Captain Steve and will be back for more of this awesome fishing action.

Now is the time of year to come to explore what Lake Toho has to offer. This father-son duo got out early in the morning and caught fish all trip long. Cold fronts may have slowed the action down but that did not stop the big bass from coming out to play. Tracy and his son caught some great numbers ranging from 20-25. They caught 6 fish over 4 pounds with the biggest bass weighing 6.12 pounds. That’s a beautiful fish.

Tracy will be back for more of this incredible action in the near future. Captain John is looking forward to getting them back out for even bigger fish.
Next up capt Steve
Not long after this awesome fishing adventure, Captain Steve Niemoeller explored what Lake Toho Bass Fishing had to offer. He had the pleasure of fishing with Mike and Jen. While traveling from New York’s capital, they wanted to get on the bass with artificial baits.

Colder temperatures and conditions will make the artificial bite slightly slower than normal. You can still pick away at them throwing worms, flukes, spinnerbaits, and a variety of other lures. If you are looking for more action, use wild-caught live shiners. It is the best and preferred method for catching numbers of quality bass. Throw them out under a cork or free line and have an absolute blast watching them get sucked under.
Most of the bass were caught on outside hydrilla edges. Mike and Jen caught over 12 largemouth bass weighing up to 3 pounds. The action has been steady and getting better by the day. They are looking to come back soon to fish on Kenansville Lake. Captain Steve is looking forward to their next adventure soon!
Then came Capt Devin
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Devin Dickerson’s fishing adventure with a lot of great action.

The largemouth bass was out to play on this fishing trip. This group of guys and gals landed over 31 Florida largemouth bass. The biggest weighed in at 4.40 pounds. Most of the fish were taken on wild-caught live shiners but they also caught them on artificial baits. The most effective baits were zoom speed worms and rattle traps. Tony caught his personal best on a speed worm weighing in at 3.50 pounds.

Everything Worked on this Trip
Wild-caught live shiners were magic on this fishing trip. If you are looking to put big numbers and bass in the boat, live bait is the way to go. Bob and Jim enjoyed a sporadic bite with over 24 quality largemouth bass in the boat. The biggest fish weighed close to 4 pounds.
They had a great time on the water and are looking forward to coming back for more action. Captain Brent will get them on even bigger bass next time!

Just shortly after this trip, Captain Brent adventured back out on Lake Toho. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Dale and his son Landon. They were Florida natives that wanted to explore Kissimmee Bass Fishing. Kissimmee, FL is the perfect location to get on some of your biggest bass.
Water temperatures were continuing to drop on this fishing trip. That did not stop the big bass from biting. Dale and Landon still caught their personal best largemouth bass with the biggest weighing around 4.5-5 pounds.
Even when it’s not going well
When you adventure out in Florida in search of bass that is all you can ask for; some quality fishing and great memories. Dale and Landon had a great time and are looking forward to coming back shortly for more action. Captain Brent will get them on them again!

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain John Leech explored Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of fishing with John and Charlie. They were good friends looking for a great time on the water catching Kissimmee Largemouth Bass. While traveling from up North, bass fishing was a must.
Conditions were much different on this fishing trip. A warming trend fired up the largemouth bass and put them in a school. Captain John had to move around in order to find them but once he did, it was game on.
Continued Success Over and Over
John and Charlie enjoyed the strong action putting over 20 largemouth bass in the boat. Live bait was the best choice during these conditions. Charlie caught his personal best largemouth bass weighing 5 pounds.

They wanted to come bass fishing here in Kissimmee, FL using only artificial baits. It was an early morning start and luckily the bass wanted to cooperate.
The largemouth bass was schooling and chasing shad in open water. Steven and his son threw soft-plastic flukes and topwater baits to catch a majority of the bass. They had 12 quality bass in the first hour of their trip. After a quick 4-hour fishing trip, they landed 25 largemouth bass and enjoyed every minute.

They also caught several bass on shiners. Steve and his son will be back for more of this awesome action on Lake Toho. Captain John is looking forward to their next adventure.
It was not long after this trip that Captain John was back out on Toho. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Thomas and his son Cayden. They wanted to come experience and explore what Lake Toho had to offer. Unfortunately, it was not as strong as the last several trips as weather and fishing conditions change.
Smiles all the Way Round
Thomas and Cayden landed 12 Florida largemouth bass with the biggest weighing in at 3.5 pounds. The wind was blowing hard but they made the best out of it. One of the key methods was using live bait and trolling them out the back of the boat. The wind would move us along and put us in the strike zone.

This father-son duo will be back for more action in the future. Captain John is looking forward to getting them back out there in search of a trophy largemouth bass.
