Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing

Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing

Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing

Florida is one of the only places in the world that has quality bass fishing all year round. Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing has been exciting and producing great fishing trips.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Matt and his son Dylan traveling from Colorado.

We started out fishing early and picked up a couple of largemouth bass. Constantly moving down the canals we continued to catch fish.

The two bass we caught were in the weight range of 3 to 4 pounds. We started to throw live shiners and we caught some quality peacock bass doing so.

Dylan was a great fisherman for a young man like himself. He was able to do all the things he needed to do by himself. He caught the biggest peacock weighing right around 3 pounds.

We had such a great time out in the Golden Gate Canal System in Naples, Florida and I am looking forward to fishing with these fine gentlemen again.

In the meantime, keep searching for those big ones!

Good Day Bass Fishing

Good Day Bass Fishing

Good Day Bass Fishing

Lake Okeechobee is one of my favorite locations to fish in Florida. Today, Larry and Liam embarked on a Good Day Bass Fishing.

We started out of Clewiston and traveled our way along the West wall. The first hole we stopped at produced some fish but not the number we were looking for.

The second hole produced the number we wanted. Larry and Liam pulled out about 20 fish.

They caught about 40 fish total making it a great day out on the water. The biggest fish was right around 4 pounds.

It will fuel the fire for the next trip out for a big bass! I look forward to providing that opportunity to them.

Okeechobee Flats Bass Fishing

Okeechobee Flats Bass Fishing

Okeechobee Flats Bass Fishing

Lake Okeechobee has provided some of the best bass fishing in the state of Florida this season. Okeechobee Flats Bass Fishing has been the go to method to catching the numbers.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Jeff and his son Caleb. Traveling to Florida for its bass, they were ready to set the hook.

We ventured out of Clewiston and started throwing artificial baits early in the morning.

The wind was blowing and the water was getting muddy. We were able to find some cleaner water.

We had a couple bites early on and then we took a break for lunch. Regrouping in Clewiston, we made a plan to fish Harney Pond.

Drifting the flats, Jeff picked up a couple decent fish. Putting on some live shiners, the action picked up greatly.

At the first shiner spot, Caleb picked up a good 5 pound 2 ounce largemouth. Jeff and Caleb both picked off a couple more on the spot.

I had a great time with these gentlemen and I am looking forward to fishing with them again.

Big Bass Day on Lake Okeechobee

Big Bass Day on Lake Okeechobee

Big Bass Day on Lake Okeechobee

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with a great fisherman and friend Andy from Canada. It was gonna be a Big Bass Day on Lake Okeechobee.

Lake Okeechobee has been fishing wonderfully this time of year.

We started out throwing artificial around the peppergrass and picked up a couple of decent fish. The bite slowed after this but it wasn’t before long it picked back up.

Cloud cover rolled in and we pulled up to a spot that was looking good. Andy caught a couple of 3 to 4-pound fish.

All of a sudden they turned on and we started putting really quality fish in the boat. The 5 biggest fish weigh upward of 30 pounds.

Catching multiple 6 pounders, Andy had a great day on the water.

It was a phenomenal day out on Lake Okeechobee and I am looking forward to fishing with Andy again.

Berkley Soft Plastic Bass Fishing

Berkley Soft Plastic Bass Fishing

Berkley Soft Plastic Bass Fishing

Soft Plastics are part of every bass fisherman’s arsenal of tackle they carry with them while they go fishing. It is one of the most effective imitator baits you can buy. Berkley Soft Plastic Bass Fishing has been on fire here on Lake Okeechobee.

Ben is traveling from Naples up to Lake Okeechobee for the bass fishing it presents this time of year. With the wind blowing, sticking on the West wall was very smart.

Pulling up to our first spot, we put a couple in the boat right away. Throwing fast-moving swimbaits and topwater made for an excellent day. The Berkley Havoc “Grass Pig” dragged across the mats entice big bites.

Most of the fish we caught were right in the 4-pound range. The biggest fish we caught was right around 6 pounds. Catching right around 25 fish, we had a great day out on Lake Okeechobee.

Weather conditions have been perfect for fishing lately and it is time to get out on an Outdoor Adventure of a lifetime.

Come Catch Yours with Captain Mark Rogers on Lake Okeechobee.
