Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing

Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing

Florida is one of the only places in the world that has quality bass fishing all year round. Golden Gate Peacock Bass Fishing has been exciting and producing great fishing trips.

Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Matt and his son Dylan traveling from Colorado.

We started out fishing early and picked up a couple of largemouth bass. Constantly moving down the canals we continued to catch fish.

The two bass we caught were in the weight range of 3 to 4 pounds. We started to throw live shiners and we caught some quality peacock bass doing so.

Dylan was a great fisherman for a young man like himself. He was able to do all the things he needed to do by himself. He caught the biggest peacock weighing right around 3 pounds.

We had such a great time out in the Golden Gate Canal System in Naples, Florida and I am looking forward to fishing with these fine gentlemen again.

In the meantime, keep searching for those big ones!
