Chris adventured out on a super early fishing charter. During this time of year, the bass begin to bite early. Chris caught some big bass right off the bat. It was a great day on the water with beautiful weather. Captain John put Chris on the biggest bass he had ever caught. He caught his personal best bass 3 different time during this trip. It started with a 4 pounder, then it was a 5 pounder and after that he caught one just shy of 6 pounds. Artificial and live baits were successful on this fishing trip. Chris caught his biggest bass on artificial baits.
Captain John is looking forward to the next opportunity to get in on the action again next time!
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with Alan and his six year old son Owen. They had a fantastic morning on the water. Lake Toho Bass Fishing produced yet again another amazing fishing trip. Alan and Owen wanted to strictly fish artificial baits.
Fishing conditions changed the day before this fishing trip and Captain Brent made sure that he had some live bait on this trip just in case. Alan and Owen worked really hard to catch some bass with artificial baits. After a couple hours throwing artificial baits with no luck, they switched over to live bait. They ended up stealing the show and put some quality largemouth bass in the boat.
Alan and Owen had a blast catching bass with Captain Brent. They caught fish up to 3 pounds. Also, they are looking forward to getting back on the water on Lake Toho to cash in on the action next time.
Lake Toho Bass Fishing is getting stronger every day. Season is right around the corner. If you want to catch some big bass, now is your time to book. Captain Steve had the pleasure of fishing with Rei and Ayeumi. They were traveling from Japan looking to cash in on some Florida bass fishing. It was an 8-hour artificial fishing trip and they caught them up. Generally, live bait is the best method but if you want to catch big numbers on artificial baits this is the place to fish.
Rei and Ayeumi caught 30 largemouth bass in their 8-hour trip. They really knew how to catch them up. The most successful patterns consisted of flukes, senkos, spinnerbaits, jerk baits, swimbaits, and multiple different kinds of topwater baits. You never know what you will encounter when visiting Florida. These gentlemen are looking forward to coming back and landing even more largemouth bass.
Captain Brent is looking forward as well to his next opportunity to fish with them!
Just shortly after this amazing fishing charter, Captain Brent adventured back out on the Butler Chain of Lakes. This time Mike and Casey came out to fish for largemouth bass in Windermere, Florida. It was a quick 4-hour fishing trip with a mix of both artificial and wild-caught live shiners. The bite was hot right off the bat but as conditions changed it got slower.
After two hours on the water, things changed. The wind started to pick up and the bite slowed down. Mike and Casey still caught some good numbers of fish. They had a great time just being on the water and soaking up the scenery. Fishing is a great way to bond with friends or loved ones. They are looking forward to coming back soon and catching them up again!

Captain Brent had the pleasure of fishing with Scott. Scott was traveling from Tennessee looking to cash in on the bass fishing here in Central Florida. It was a fantastic morning of fishing with the bass active and ready to bite. Early morning action calls for some artificial baits on top. Scott put some quality bass in the boat this way.
Also, Scott caught several nice bass on wild-caught live shiners. Bass fishing is getting better by the day here on Lake Toho. Scott landed a big bass weighing 6 pounds. This bass came on live bait. Several other quality bass were caught on topwater walking baits along with flukes, speed worms, and flipping baits. Scott really enjoyed his time learning about the wildlife along with catching fish.
Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Scott again next time he visits!
More About the Trip
Just shortly after this incredible fishing trip, Captain Brent adventured out with repeat clients of his. Mark and Bruce have explored what Central Florida fishing has to offer and came back for more. These two guys can really catch them up. They went out for a quick 6-hour fishing trip. 6 hours is the perfect time frame to catch some big bass and some great numbers.
Last year, Mark and Bruce came out fishing on the Butler Chain of Lakes. They had a great time but now it was time to mix it up. Captain Brent advised fishing on Lake Toho as the fishing has been getting really good. If you want to catch bass on both artificial and live bait, this is the destination to visit.
Mark and Bruce caught 25 plus largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The early bite was perfect for wild-caught shiners. Open water and hungry bass made for a fun day. As the trip went on, they threw worms and Senkos. You can’t beat the action here on Lake Toho!
Captain Devin is looking forward to the next time they come to Florida and crush them up!
November and December are going to be great months to come bass fishing here in Florida. Lake Toho will be producing some excellent fishing as the weather begins to clear. Captain John Leech had the pleasure of fishing with Rob and Robbie. They were traveling to Central Florida in search of some excellent bass fishing. It was Robbie’s 13th birthday and there was no better way to spend it than on Lake Toho. They live in the Orlando area and were searching for a great outdoor activity. Rob was taking a break from traveling around with his band.
Fishing conditions were tougher in the morning but got much better as the day went on. Rob and Robbie were catching them up and put some quality bass and numbers in the boat. Robbie caught his birthday present with 5-pound largemouth bass in the boat. Also, he caught a chain pickerel as well.
Rob and Robbie had an awesome time while Lake Toho Bass Fishing. This location just south of Orlando is the perfect getaway! Captain John is looking forward to fishing with these fine gentlemen again in the future.
Just shortly after this fishing charter, another one of our local experts explored the Butler Chain of Lakes. Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with Bruce and his sons Tanner, Taylor, and their grandfather Steve. The Butler Chain came in strong for this family. They were fishermen traveling from Arizona to catch some Florida largemouth bass.
Bass fishing has been incredible this time of year in Central Florida. The fish are schooling strong early in the morning as well as later in the evening. Whether you want to catch them on artificial baits or live shiners, you can get the job done. Throw topwater baits or rattle traps in schools and pick off some excellent bass. Bruce and his family caught 40 largemouth bass up to 3 pounds.

Captain Devin had the pleasure of fishing with Caleb who was traveling from West Virginia. It was a beautiful morning for some Lake Toho Bass Fishing. Caleb really enjoyed getting out on the water in Central Florida and catching largemouth. He could really put them in the boat. Captain Devin is a large lake with excellent opportunities for live bait and artificial baits.
Caleb caught several-quality largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. All of his bass came on artificial baits. The most productive baits on this fishing trip included zoom super fluke, senkos, and reaction innovation sweet beavers. Slower presentations were the best at producing the bigger bass. When you are fishing for bass this time of year, you have to slow everything down. The bass was focused on hydrilla edges close to deeper water. They are staging and feeding up before coming to shallow water.
Caleb had a blast on the water and Captain Devin is looking forward to the next opportunity to fish with him again!
Getting it Done Again!
Just shortly after this awesome fishing adventure, Captain Devin adventure out on Lake Toho again. This time, Bill and his son-in-law Danny came out looking for some quality largemouth bass. They never could expect what was going to occur. Full moons again are a great time to capitalize on big bass.
It was another early morning on Lake Toho and it sure was beautiful. On this fishing charter, both live and artificial baits were used. Bill and Danny landed several-quality largemouth bass with two trophy-sized fish in the boat. They weighed 8 and 7 pounds. You truly can’t beat the action here on Lake Toho. Every bite could produce the fish you are looking for.
Cooler water temperatures will make the bass fishing even better. Captain Devin is looking forward to fishing with Bill and Danny again in the future!
