North Carolina Family Fishing Charter Experiencing Kissimmee Florida

Family Fishing Charter

Central Florida is the place to not only take your family for vacation but also a fishing trip of a lifetime. While you are visiting all the theme parks here, make sure you also get to experience what Kissimmee truly has to offer you. Come enjoy a Family Fishing Charter next time you visit Central Florida.

I had the pleasure of fishing with the Tooley Family. They were traveling from North Carolina on vacation. While they were here, they wanted to explore a 4-hour fishing adventure on Lake Toho. Lake Toho Bass Fishing has been exceptional this time of year.

It was a morning fishing trip and the action was hot right off the bat. Both artificial and live bait was effective on this trip. Fishing conditions and water temperatures promoted an excellent bass fishing day. As the weather continues to warm, the artificial bite will get even better.

The largemouth bass is either moving out to deeper water or they are swimming around the Kissimmee Grass. Bass ate senkos, flukes, speed worms, and traps. Wild-caught live shiners also worked very effectively.

The Tooley family boated 25 Florida largemouth bass weighing up to 5.75 pounds. They were ecstatic with the action here on Lake Toho. I am looking forward to getting another chance to fishing with them in the future.

Johns Lake Fishing Trip Searching for Florida Largemouth Bass

Johns Lake Fishing Trip Searching for Florida Largemouth Bass

Johns Lake Fishing Trip

Central Florida is beyond exceptional for catching trophy largemouth bass. Many lakes here can satisfy you whether you are looking for big fish or significant numbers. During the earlier months of the year, you can find bass transitioning from spawning to moving to open water, especially on a Johns Lake Fishing Trip.

I had the pleasure of fishing with David Cahan. David wanted to experience Johns Lake here in Central Florida. This lake always provides something new and exciting all year long.

We had a slow start due to the lack of wind. As the bass move around the lake, you have to adjust and figure them out. By the end of the trip, we found that they were moving into deeper waterways.

David caught over 15 largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The biggest bass weighed 6 pounds. He was ecstatic to catch a big bass like this. If you have not caught a big bass in Florida, Johns Lake is a great lake to experience.

Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective bait for catching Florida largemouth bass. Dan also caught watermelon red senkos as well. Letting them sink and sit for a bit on the bottom will catch them up.

Ended as a Great Day

Bass Fishing Explosion

Afternoon fishing trips can be exciting especially this time of year. Morning and afternoons are very strong time frames to experience Florida Bass Fishing. Lake Toho in Kissimmee is a great place to experience a bass fishing explosion.

I had the pleasure of fishing with George Dillion. George was traveling from Kansas to catch largemouth bass. He is an experienced angler that loves to fish for bass. It was awesome watching and guiding him where the fish were as he slammed them.

Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective method to catching fish on this trip. George put over 33 bass in the boat. The biggest fish weighed 4.84 pounds. It was constant action and was faster than normal on this afternoon fishing trip. As we were coming to a close, the action really got going and it was a bass fishing explosion.

Central Florida Lakes is teeming with excellent fishing. You can’t miss out on this action when it is hot. I am looking forward to fishing with George on another amazing fishing trip. Mixed Florida Bass Fishing

Central Florida Bass Fishing is one of the best destinations to come experience. While visiting Florida with friends or family, make sure you explore what Kissimmee has to offer. A mixed Florida bass fishing trip can help provide an exceptional outdoor adventure.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Mike and Dan. They were traveling from Canada to Central Florida. While they were here, they wanted to experience Kissimmee further. In order to do so they went out on a quick morning fishing trip.

We used a mix variety of fishing techniques to catch bass on this trip. Both artificial and live baits were used. Live bait was very consistent to start the trip.

Mike and Dan boated 23 Florida largemouth bass on wild caught live shiners. They also caught 7 bass on artificial baits. The biggest fish weighed close to 4 pounds. Artificial big bass weighed 3 pounds.

The baits that worked the best for artificial were flukes, senkos and speed worm. As the water continues to warm, the action will pick up. Focus on grass lines when fishing these baits.

I am looking forward to fishing with Mike and Dan again in the future. Don’t miss out on your Central Florida Fishing adventure next time you are visiting. Action is just starting to get good! I am looking forward to seeing you on the water!!

Two Central Florida Trophy Largemouth Bass on Florida Lakes

Two Central Florida Trophy Largemouth Bass on Florida Lakes

Central Florida Trophy Largemouth Bass

Florida is the perfect place to catch two Central Florida Trophy Largemouth Bass. All year long, you have endless possibilities to catch the fish of a lifetime. Each moment you can get out on the water is truly a special moment. Central Florida is a dominant location to go fishing, especially for multiple days on the water. If you ever get the chance, visit this amazing state and fish the highly productive lakes here all year round.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and Jeff. They were visiting Florida and wanted to experience what Bass Fishing was all about. It was the perfect time of year to catch some of the best bass they had ever seen. They spent two days on Kenansville Lake and one day on Lake Toho.

The artificial bite started slower than usual due to high wind conditions. High winds made the water muddy, but that did not stop the fish from biting. Wild-caught shiners were the most effective method to catch bass on this trip.

The Trophy Catch

Once we got on the fish, it was game on. The bite was steady, and we caught some giant trophy largemouth bass. Dave and Jeff boated 43 bass on their trip on the water. They landed two personal best bass weighing 10.3 pounds and 8.13 pounds. Central Florida Trophy Largemouth Bass love the cooler waters of these big lakes.

The second day on Kenansville was another jammed-packed day on the water. Big fish were biting early and often. Artificial baits were still quite challenging to turn on with the muddy waters, but they could still catch a large number of largemouth bass. The biggest Central Florida trophy largemouth bass weighed close to 7 pounds. It was not the size of the previous day but a truly phenomenal fish.

On this trip, the artificial bite was getting better. Dave and Jeff caught a few on swim jigs and senkos. As the water becomes clearer when the weather calms down is the best time to catch bass on artificial baits.

Dave and Jeff got to experience what Kissimmee had to offer on their final day of fishing. Lake Toho Bass Fishing has been fantastic all season long. The morning bite was vital as it usually is. Once the sun began to peek out and reach, a high point in the sky is when the bite slowed down—overcast conditions allowed for a steady taste the rest of the day.

We adventured out and fished the lake’s south and middle portions. Mostly we found post-spawn fish, but some males were still protecting beds. The biggest fish on this trip weighed 5.75 pounds. Most of the bass caught were taken on wild-caught live shiners.

Artificial Fishing in Central Florida

Of all the days on the water, this was the best to throw artificial baits. Dave and Jeff caught several fish on Senko worms, chatter baits, and swim jigs. The middle portion of the lake was best for this. We focused firmly on Kissimmee grass and cattails. As the weeks roll on, this bite will continue to improve.

Dave and Jeff had the time of their life on their outdoor fishing adventures here in Central Florida. They truly got to taste the fishing destinations producing the best bass fishing in the state. Now is a great time to continue to catch big bass here in Florida. I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Don’t miss out on the fishing adventure of a lifetime next time you visit Florida! I look forward to fishing with you as well.
