Summer Central Florida Fishing 1Robert was visiting Central Florida on a solo mission to catch some largemouth bass. Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with this gentlemen. One of the hot locations during this trip was on Johns Lake. It was a split day trip with live bait and artificial baits. The morning bite, especially during this time of year, is the most productive by far.

Robert caught some really nice largemouth bass on his fishing trip. The largest bass weighed in at 5 pounds. Most of the artificial fishing was towards the end of the trip. After using up the live bait, there is no better way to end the day and land several more fish.

Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Robert again in the near future!

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Steve Niemoeller had the pleasure of fishing with Lance and his son Hunter. They were traveling from Colorado on a sunny Florida vacation. While doing so, Florida bass fishing was a must. Captain Steve took them on a bass fishing adventure on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL.

It was not long into this fishing trip that Lance and Hunter started to land some fish. They put over 12 largemouth bass in the boat on their trip and had a blast with everyone. Both Lance and Hunter caught their personal best largemouth bass. Most of the fish weighed 3-4 pounds. They had a great time on the water. Rainstorms threatened us but they managed to stay dry.

Johns Lake Fishing Trip Searching for Florida Largemouth Bass

Johns Lake Fishing Trip Searching for Florida Largemouth Bass

Johns Lake Fishing Trip

Central Florida is beyond exceptional for catching trophy largemouth bass. Whether you are looking for the big fish or great numbers, many lakes here can satisfy you. During the earlier months of the year, you can find bass in transition from spawning to moving to open water especially on a Johns Lake Fishing Trip.

I had the pleasure of fishing with David Cahan. David wanted to experience Johns Lake here in Central Florida. This lake always provides something new and exciting all year long.

We had a slow start due to the lack of wind. As the bass move around the lake, you have to adjust and figure them out. By the end of the trip, we found that they were moving into deeper waterways.

David caught over 15 largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The biggest bass weighed 6 pounds. He was ecstatic to catch a big bass like this. If you have not caught a big bass in Florida, Johns Lake is a great lake to experience.

Wild caught live shiners were the most effective bait to catching Florida largemouth bass. Dan also caught watermelon red senkos as well. Letting them sink and sit for a bit on the bottom will catch them up.

Dan and I had a fantastic trip. He was a great guy to fish with and I am looking forward to doing it again in the future. Book your trip with Bass Online today and let’s get you hooked up on a fish of a lifetime!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Mathias, Tyler, Heaven and Fortune. They wanted to explore what Johns Lake had to offer them. Just west of Orlando, bass fishing on this lake is a great family option.

Despite the heavy fogs to start the day, we had a fantastic time on the water. Wild caught live shiners were the most effective bait to catch these Florida Largemouth Bass. These bass are in the process of one of their many spawns during the winter months.

Mathias, Tyler, Heaven and Fortune caught 22 beautiful bass weighing up to 7 pounds. Nothing beats a day on the water like this. They really enjoyed the action and quality of bass being caught. 5 foot depth range was very important on this fishing trip.

Also, we caught several bass on a glimmer blue super fluke. I am looking forward to fishing with this amazing group again soon. Don’t miss out on your adventure here in Central Florida. Book with us today for a trip of a lifetime!
