I had the pleasure of fishing with a repeat customer of mine, Deedee and Bill. They came out with me last year and caught some giant largemouth bass and were coming back for more. The Rodman Reservoir in Gainesville delivered them another amazing fishing trip.

Deedee and Bill are Virginia natives that love to vacation in Florida. While they are here, getting their line wet is a must. The reservoir has been producing exceptional fishing trips lately. If you are looking for a trophy largemouth bass, this is the place to come.

Deedee and Bill caught 16 largemouth bass. Deedee caught 3 bass over 7 pounds with the biggest weighing 7.13 pounds. Bill caught the absolute monsters on this trip. One of his fish weighed 9.7 pounds. The other Double-Digit weighed 10.11 pounds which is a true trophy largemouth bass.

The action here in North Florida is just starting to pick up and as the water continues to get right, the better the trips will be. I am looking forward to seeing these amazing people again next year.
