Captain Brent had the pleasure of fishing with Michael Benton and his family on this fishing trip. They were traveling to Central Florida on a family getaway. While doing so, bass fishing was a great option to get in the outdoors. They embarked on a quick 4-hour fishing trip with all live bait. When it comes to bass fishing here in Central Florida, live bait is the best method to catching bass.
Lake Toho has been fishing very well this year. All summer long you will be able to access some excellent quality fish. Michael and his family caught over 15 largemouth bass weighing up to 5.75 pounds. Most of the bass caught were in open water over hydrilla beds. Hydrilla is key when looking to catch bass in Central Florida.
Michael and his family had a great time on the water! Captain Brent is looking forward to putting them on more bass in the near future!!
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Brent was back on the water. He had the pleasure of fishing with Scott, Jacoby, and Haley. They were traveling down here on vacation looking for an outdoor adventure. Captain Brent was one of the three boats in their party. Captain Steve and John also had several members of this family on their boats in Kissimmee, FL.
The action was still strong and the bass were biting. Scott, Jacoby, and Haley all caught big numbers of largemouth bass weighing up to 4-pounds. Live bait was yet again the most successful method of catching the bass. Fishing with live bait is a very exciting activity that the whole family can enjoy. It is the preferred method, especially with young kids.
This wonderful family had a great time on the water with Captain Brent. Captain Brent is looking forward to getting back on the water again soon!
