I had the pleasure of fishing with Mikhail, Elaina, and Dimitri this morning. They were traveling from Moscow, Russia, and wanted to experience what Florida Fishing had to offer.
The largemouth bass is really starting to bite. Right from the first cast, they were all over it and the action was fast and furious. Wild shiners were the most effective method and technique on this fishing trip. Bass Assassins alewife “vapor shad” also put some bass in the boat.
The group had a great day out on the water catching over 25 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. Lake Toho is looking really good and the bass is starting to group up making them easier to target. They are getting ready for the spawning that is going to start occurring soon.
Water temperatures have to reach their magic number and then it will start. You will be able to catch some quality largemouth bass when it does, the ones you are looking for.
