Great Fall Fishing Trip

Great Fall Fishing Trip

If you want a Great Fall Fishing Trip, the Butler Chain of Lakes has all you need. It can provide you with a Florida Fishing Adventure that will last a lifetime.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Daniel Doeppe. He wanted to catch some quality largemouth bass on this solo fishing trip.

Daniel had a great time catching bass on both live and artificial baits. He put over 20 bass in the boat. The biggest fish weighed up to 5 pounds.

The most effective technique was the live bait but many other artificial baits helped the action. Swim jigs and an underspin with a Bass Assassin “die dapper” also crushed them. Flukes also came in handy throughout the trip.

About Butler Chain of Lakes

The Butler Chains of lakes (4,927 acres) are all very similar in that they are relatively deep for Florida lakes (20 – 40-foot holes), have abundant submerge vegetation and good largemouth bass fisheries. This 4,720-acre chain is made up of 11 interconnected lakes. Boat access is available only at a couple of city and county ramps and public bank access is almost non-existent. Orange County charges a launch fee at some local lake ramps and all ramps are not open after dark. Read More
