I had the pleasure of fishing with Mathias, Tyler, Heaven, and Fortune. They wanted to explore what Johns Lake had to offer them. Just west of Orlando, bass fishing on this lake is a great family option.

Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective bait to catch these Florida Largemouth Bass. These bass are in the process of one of their many spawns during the winter months.

Mathias, Tyler, Heaven, and Fortune caught 22 beautiful bass weighing up to 7 pounds. Nothing beats a day on the water like this. They really enjoyed the action and quality of bass being caught. The 5-foot depth range was very important on this fishing trip.
