Florida Trophy Catch Bass Fishing
Central Florida is known for its legendary bass fishing. This year has been amazing for catching trophy largemouth bass. When you are visiting the sunshine state, make sure to enjoy a Florida Trophy Catch Bass Fishing trip.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Alex traveling from New Jersey. He also brought along a friend that loves to bass fish. Alex and Dave were in store for an awesome two days of Central Florida Fishing. We adventured out on Lake Kenansville.
Alex has been fishing with me for over 5 years. He has caught many trophy largemouth bass here in Central and North Florida. Two previous fish caught were a 7 and 11-pound largemouth bass. We could not beat the 11-pounders on this fishing trip but landed several trophy fish.
On our first day of fishing, Dave caught an 8.14-pound largemouth bass. There is nothing like experiencing a fish of that caliber. 60 other quality bass were caught on our first day out. The fishing conditions took a turn on the first day. Rain was coming down so hard that we were not able to see from one side of the boat to the other.
Once the sun came out, the big fish started to bite. The next day was very similar to the amount of fish caught. Alex caught a 6.9-pound largemouth along with several others in that weight range.
Some Days it’s just Perfect
Dave and Alex had a fantastic time on the water and I can’t wait to fish with them again in the future. Central Florida is the place to visit when looking to catch your giant largemouth bass.
