I had the pleasure of fishing with Will and 2 of his friends. We were originally set to go out fishing in the Golden Gate Canal but conditions just aren’t right there yet. Cold fronts have greatly affected the fishing on the canal system.
We agreed to take a quick 45 minute ride from Naples to Alligator Alley where the action has been hot. Once we started fishing, the action never died. The Everglades are alive with numbers of quality largemouth bass.
Will and his friends had a great trip out on the water. They caught over 100 largemouth bass weighing up to 4 pounds. You can’t beat a day like that Florida fishing for bass.
This was the best fishing trip they had ever had. They have never caught so many fish in their life. When you come to Florida, this is what you want to experience.
Conditions were perfect with a slight breeze and overcast skies. The Everglades is on fire and is only going to get better. I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future!

Healthy Bass Fishing Trip
Bass Fishing in Florida is getting better day by day. Lake Okeechobee is looking and fishing extra amazing this time of year. One of the many great experiences you can do when traveling to Florida is a Healthy Bass Fishing Trip.
I had the pleasure of fishing with George Aruther on an afternoon fishing trip out of Clewiston, Florida. He wanted to catch some quality largemouth bass on this great lake.
We had a great day of fishing. The conditions were slower than we would have liked but we made the best of it. Winds were blowing hard and we had to move around to find some decent fish. It went from calm to windy as the day went on.
George caught over 25 largemouth bass with most in the 2 to 4 pound range. The biggest bass weighed close to 5 pounds. Wild caught live shiners were the most effective technique to catching these largemouths.
Lake Okeechobee is fishing healthy and steady. The maintained water temperature is helping those bass that are moving in get ready for their spawns. Lots of fish are beginning and are moving in. It is going to be a fantastic fishing season to catch the largemouth of your dreams.

Cold Front Bass Fishing
Florida Fishing for bass is one of the most exciting outdoor activities you can partake in when traveling to Florida. The time of year to come to catch the fish of your dreams is now. Big bass is beginning to move in. Don’t be discouraged when you are experiencing Cold Front Bass Fishing.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Brian traveling from Michigan. He really wanted to fish on Lake Okeechobee and we made it happen. Brian opted in for some cold-front bass fishing.
He wanted to go after the largemouth bass on artificial baits but a drop in temperatures can shut that bite down. It was a great day to go fishing though with clear skies and a slight breeze.
Brian put over 30 fish in the boat. When conditions turn in any direction, shiners are the most effective method to catch the largemouth. Fish ranged from 1.5 to 5 pounds. You never know what to expect when fishing Lake Okeechobee.

3 Days of Best Largemouth Bass Fishing
When traveling to Florida, spend some time outdoors. 3 days of best Largemouth Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee will have you hooked and ready for more of its incredible action.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve, Brian, and Tom. They wanted to adventure out on Lake Okeechobee for three days while they were visiting the state.
The weather and fishing conditions were perfect for all three days. The wind was blowing 10-15 mph which is a great way to keep the water flowing. We fished out of Clewiston and Slims Fish Camp in Belle Glade.
Shiners and live bait were the most effective bait to use to catch this largemouth bass. The artificial bite was slower but we also caught them on those baits as well. You just have to put in a little extra work to catch them on artificial.
3 Days of Best Largemouth Bass Fishing
Steve, Brian, and Tom caught over 150 bass throughout their 3 days of largemouth bass fishing. Most were in the healthy 2-pound range. The biggest bass weighed 5 pounds.
We had a great time out on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again in the future.

Clewiston Bass Trip
Lake Okeechobee is home to excellent bass fishing all year long. A Clewiston Bass Trip can really help show you what the lake has to offer. We are coming into the best time to fish Lake Okeechobee, so don’t miss out.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Dan and his two boys. They really wanted to come experience what Clewiston and Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing was like.
Fishing conditions were breezy and chilly but that did not stop the bass from biting. Winds generally always help if the water is clean. There was a lot more stained water than we would like to see. Once the sun came out, it was game on.
After searching and finding some cleaner spots, we settled down and fished live bait all day. It was a great day out on the water and the boys had an awesome time.
The action is on and the numbers are increasing. Dan and his boys caught 50 fish on their fishing trip. The biggest largemouth bass weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces. You can’t really beat the action down here and it is only just beginning.
We look forward to fishing with Dan and his boys again soon. They want to come experience what other locations in Florida can produce. Come visit this great state and experience what the outdoors is all about.
