California Carl Takes Over Lake Okeechobee
This is another fishing report of Okeechobee bass fishing with Capt Mark Rogers from Lake Okeechobee.
Luckily the afternoon brought some of the best fishing conditions today. It is always nice when the fish come out to play. It was time California Carl Takes Over Lake Okeechobee.
Two trips in a row that the Lake produced some giants. Carl caught a fish that weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces today. This was his first-ever largemouth bass.
The south end of the lake really produced some numbers. We had such a great afternoon on the Lake. After this trip, they will have a couple of crucial techniques to catch some largemouth bass in California.
I look forward to their return and fishing with them again. I had a great time and I know Carl did too. Catching his first-ever Largemouth Bass, I know he will be back.

For most of my life fishing has been a passion. Over the years I have fished bass tournaments across Pennsylvania and on lakes and rivers up and down the East Coast. I have participated in B.A.S.S., FLW Stren Series, Walmart BFL’s, and ABA tournaments along with finishing 2nd in the 2012 Keystone Bass Classic on Lake Erie, to name a few.

First Time Fishing Outdoor Adventure
This is another fishing report of Okeechobee bass fishing with Capt Mark from Lake Okeechobee.
Traveling up to Okeechobee City today was a great change of pace. Max and his brother-in-law Bob were in for a treat. Max had never fished a day in his life. He was about to embark on a First Time Fishing Outdoor Adventure- Lake Okeechobee.
As we get older, the more we want to experience things. For 75-year-old Max, taking over Lake Okeechobee was on his bucket list. He has never been fishing before and wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
The first fish for max was a surprise. This largemouth bass was an absolute monster weighing 6 pounds 1 oz. That is an incredible first time ever largemouth.
The fishing was great and the conditions really cooperated. Most of the fish we caught were ready to spawn.
I am looking forward to their return. The Lake is really heating up right now and I do not want you to miss your chances to catch an Okeechobee monster. Book now before it is too late.
Till next time, tight lines!!

Florida Fishing Slims Fish Camp
This is another fishing report of Okeechobee bass fishing with Capt Dave Lauer from Lake Okeechobee.
The South end of Lake Okeechobee is looking amazing this morning. The sunrise shines and lights up Slims Fish Camp so perfectly. A true must-see if you are ever in South Central Florida. Mike has traveled from Wisconsin to hook into some giant largemouth bass. It is time for a Florida Fishing Slims Fish Camp Adventure.
The conditions were looking great for a successful day of fishing. The breeze kept the water moving and the baitfish schooling. The bass was eating.
The shiner bite was on this morning. When you are looking to catch numbers, shiners are always the way to go. They provide an interesting aspect to the sport of fishing. On the South end of Lake Okeechobee Slim’s Fish Camp provides the best wild shiners around.
We caught right around 15 quality largemouth bass with the best one weighing right around 5 pounds. An overall great day and I am looking forward to their return.

Slims Fish Camp Bass Fishing
This is another fishing report of Okeechobee bass fishing with Capt George Mrozinski from Lake Okeechobee.
I truly enjoy fishing out of the South End of Lake Okeechobee. I had the pleasure to take out Fred and Jane. They traveled to Florida to get out the Maine snow. Today, we had a Belle Glade Slims Fish Camp Bass Fishing Adventure.
The fishing was fantastic today. From the first cast to the last, we were catching quality fish. Jane threw out her shiner and on the first cast, she caught a 7 pounder. The Lake is red hot right now.
Closing the day, we threw some artificial top water baits. It was a great day of fishing, with fish from the 3 to 5 pound range plus the first fish kicker.
The water level is maintaining itself as well as the water temperature. This is the best time to book a trip with us.
See you soon, Capt. George.
