Make A Wish Fishing Adventure
Orlando bass fishing can truly bring memories that will never go away. Fishing in Florida provides ample opportunities to grant wishes and spend some quality time in the outdoors with great people. A Make A Wish Bass Fishing trip in Central Florida is an occasion that puts smiles on faces and that we are glad to be part of. True happiness comes from sharing your passion with good people.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is one of the most extraordinary organizations in the United States. Every 38 minutes they grant the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories. Their mission is to change the lives of all the kids they serve. It is super important that everyone strives to make a difference every day in order to make the world a better place.

One of the blessings about being a fishing captain is that you have the ability to do that. Extending your service to organizations like such is a true wonder and can alter that mentality of children and adults. Captain Brent Nelson helped grant a wish and put together the ultimate outdoor adventure for a young man named Gabriel.
The Central-North Florida Make-A-Wish division granted Gabriel’s wish for fishing. Generally, most of the young kids that come to Florida want to go to Disney but Gabriel wanted to go bass fishing. Bass fishing was a great option for this young man looking to get outdoors with his father. Captain Brent had the ultimate pleasure to be part of and take them on an adventure in Kissimmee, Florida on Lake Toho. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was very productive on this trip!
Fishing conditions were great for Gabriel and his father. A light breeze early in the morning kept the temperatures down. The bite was slow to start but once we found them, it was game on. Gabriel caught a dozen Florida largemouth bass with the best fish weighing close to 4 pounds. That was a quality bass during these late summer months. Gabriel was extremely excited to catch the quality bass he did. Captain Brent also helped provide and make his trip even better.
Gabriel had a very long year. It was a tough one but he surely is a fighter and is extremely strong-willed. Captain Brent went above and beyond for Gabriel as he touched his heart. Central Florida was a great place for Gabriel to come fish because you can also experience an abundance of other outdoor activities. After going on the bass fishing trip with Captain Brent, Gabriel and his family also got to experience an Orlando Airboat Tour. We would like to thank Marsh Landings Adventures for donating a tour for this young man. The additional aspect and adventure made this truly a special trip.

Captain Brent also had some friends at Bass Pro Shops Orlando donate some goodie bags for Gabriel. Providing this young man the gift to continue to fish back home was truly amazing and will help make the hard days easier. Advanced Marine also donated a goodie bag of items. Captain Brent even had the live bait donated in order to put Gabriel on some quality bass. One of the items Gabriel could not put down was the micro magic rod from Duckett Fishing. We had a rod shipped and donated to him back home so that he could go fishing. Bass Online also sent him an Abu Garcia Revo spinning reel. Now Gabriel is set to explore the waters near his home for some freshwater species.
We also wanted to thank Gabriel’s parents for allowing us to share this amazing moment with their son. Captain Brent was truly honored to share their sweet, strong, and precious son for the day. These moments in a guide’s life transform and make their career something great. When you can be part of something greater than yourself, you find fulfillment in what you do!
