Summer Butler Bass Fishing Charters in Orlando Florida

Summer Butler Bass Fishing

Florida Bass Fishing is one of the PREMIERE outdoor activities to embark on when visiting Central Florida. Orlando is home to some of the best bass fishing in the state. You never know what you will get yourself into on a Summer Butler Bass Fishing trip. Explore these waters and get your rod bent.

The Butler Chain of Lakes can be one of the most productive summer bass fisheries in the state. Clearwater and lots of grass allow the bass to hide and wait for the perfect moment to strike. Summertime heat brings along a strong morning bite. Get hooked up with a local expert especially Captain Steve who knows these waters very well.

Captain Steve had the pleasure of fishing with Dru and his daughter Chance. Chance was 11 years old and loves to go bass fishing. She was in-store for an awesome day on the Butler Chain in Windermere, Florida.

They adventured out on an unbelievable six-hour fishing trip. Chance was a little expert angler catching most of the fish. Captain Brent loved fishing with this family especially helping them put 35 Florida largemouth bass in the boat. Multiple bass on this fishing trip weighed in between 5-6 pounds.

The Butler Chain has an abundance of weed lines and that was the main focus throughout the trip. You can either a troll or free line wild shiners over the main lake grass for a strong bite. Captain Brent was super excited for Chance and is looking forward to getting back on the water with them again in the future.

The Technique

It wasn’t long after this amazing trip that Captain Brent went out on another Summer Butler bass fishing trip. Mark and Cindy were traveling from West Virginia looking to get hooked on Florida bass. They embarked on an 8-hour fishing trip in the heat of the summer. Just because it was hot, doesn’t mean the bite was slow. This was a remarkable fishing trip.

Mark and Cindy did a combination of wild-caught live shiners and artificial baits. The fishing was absolutely fantastic especially with a nice summer breeze to cool things off. This couple knew how to catch some bass with over 48 bass on their fishing adventure. They also caught Alligator Gar.

Most of the bites came by trolling the shiners over main lake grass beds. They also landed numbers of bass on flukes, senkos, and speed worms. Docks supplied a strong summer bite as well. The more shade, the better for the bass.

Captain Brent is looking forward to fishing with Mark and Cindy again in the near future!
