How much does Miami fishing cost?
Miami Fishing guides prices. Charter rates depend on the style of fishing; freshwater, saltwater inshore, or deepsea fishing. In deepsea fishing even the size of the boat can make a difference in price because of the fuel it takes to get to the fishing area. Inshore and freshwater fishing are simply based on the number of people participating in the trip.
Because of all these factors, full days are much cheaper hour-by-hour than half days. A half-day freshwater costs as little as $299 and an inshore will cost roughly $399, deepsea fishing is around $699.
What to bring to Miami for fishing?
Fishing guides in Miami generally include everything you need for the fishing itself. Some specialty bait, if required, can be extra, which the captain will discuss in advance. You should bring sunglasses, a hat, a long-sleeved shirt if you need sun protection and most importantly wear something comfortable. Trip of a lifetime I had a trip of a lifetime! Captain Bob was a pleasure to spend the day with. I caught loads of fish with his guidance even though the canals had gotten 10 inches of rain in the days prior to my trip. Fishing for peacock bass in the Snapper Creek canal was the best part of my trip to Miami. We don't have those fish in Montana where I'm from and they fight like crazy. Captain Bob was very patient with me as I felt with snags and line issues throughout the day. His 25 plus years of experience were not lost on me as I pulled in bass after bass. Peacock Bucket List If you want to scratch Peacock Bass off your bucket list go with Captain Richard out of Hialeah Florida. We caught over 40 Peacocks and a number of other species including bass, crappie, Mayan Cichlid and one that we couldn’t identify a cross between a Ling and a Bowfin. Oh yes and my fishing buddy had a big snook on but lost him in a dock. Great guide great guy and a great day. Tim had us on fish the instant we started. 1st cast, 1st fish and it was a nice one. Caught 3 Peacock bass in the first 5 minutes of the outing! Captain is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable guide. He is very patient and very easy going guy. He knows his stuff, reads the water and put you on fish. I caught 3 or 4 different species and about 20 peacock bass on our trip, it was incredible! The action was steady the entire outing. I saw fish that I can't even explain, and you never knew what you were going to pull up next. It was one of the most exciting fishing days I have ever had. I will be back for certain to go Florida Peacock Bass fish again. As you can tell, I highly recommend a day of fishing with this company, you'll love it!

About our experience with your company Just thought you would like to hear about our experience with your company. What a great way to end the vacation in South Florida. Right from the info given at Bait and Tackle to dealing with Tim, Lori, and then with Bob of BassOnline.com the service was excellent. We were given options and chose to go after the Peacock Bass in the canals of Miami. First of all, Tim’s an Ace. We were catered to, fishing styles were explained and it was all smooth. We Smacked them. Right from the first cast, the action was great. We would see peacock Bass boiling on the surface, slide over, and catch fish every cast for half an hour. WOW !! Peacock, Largemouth, and Jaguar all day long. Shirley and I lost count when we passed 35 fish. Double WOW !! Our day was perfect and only got better when we pulled into this little Cuban Restaurant right on the canal Sonia’s Restaurant. What a shore lunch!! Thank goodness the fishing was great because if it wasn’t I could have stayed there for the rest of the afternoon and been perfectly happy. The afternoon was just as good as the morning. Not the same #s but some great large Peacocks and boy do they fight. All said and done what a great experience. Thanks to everyone at Bass Online and Tim and Bob.

Right from the info given at Bait and Tackle to dealing with Tim, Lori, and then with Bob of BassOnline.com the service was excellent. We were given options and chose to go after the Peacock Bass in the canals of Miami. First of all, Tim’s an Ace. We were catered to, fishing styles were explained and it was all smooth. We Smacked them. Right from the first cast, the action was great. We would see peacock Bass boiling on the surface, slide over, and catch fish every cast for half an hour. WOW !! Peacock, Largemouth, and Jaguar all day long. Shirley and I lost count when we passed 35 fish. Double WOW !! Our day was perfect and only got better when we pulled into this little Cuban Restaurant right on the canal Sonia’s Restaurant. What a shore lunch!! Thank goodness the fishing was great because if it wasn’t I could have stayed there for the rest of the afternoon and been perfectly happy. The afternoon was just as good as the morning. Not the same #s but some great large Peacocks and boy do they fight. All said and done what a great experience. Thanks to everyone at Bass Online and Tim and Bob.
Excellent trip with the family. Only had one bite but the kids managed to reel in a dozen or more with Captain Kirks help. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future.

Peacock Bass Fishing My husband and 2 boys had an outstanding time catching their limit of peacock bass! They enjoyed their Captain, Robert Miley (Bob) and said he was an awesome guide and captain! We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Huge Peacock Bass Bass Online ROCKS !! Fished with Captain Robert Miley at Lake Ida 6/8/18 and caught double figures peacock bass, the two largest 3.5 #, and 4#. Robert Miley is a true professional with years of bass fishing experience. I have fished with him over 20 times the past 3 years and we always catch fish.Going back to Chicago next week but I can't wait to go bass fishing this coming November.Go with Laurie @ Bass Online.

I will start by talking about the fishing and then I will talk about Captain Robert Miley. Captain Miley's boat is immaculate and his gear is top notch. He had everything ready for us and he was also early. He knew all the good spots and was obviously very experienced. He went way beyond for us. Recent hurricanes fell a lot of trees in the canals we were fishing in yet that did not deter Captain Miley. He navigated around the trees and debris risking damage to his boat to get my son and I to the best spots. He only had inches literally, but he was so skilled he was able to do it. We caught a good amount of Peacock Bass and my son caught a monster 6 lb peacock bass. I wish I could post a picture of it. If you could see the look on my son's face you would know what I mean. Now about Captain Robert Miley the man. He was kind, gentle, funny and entertaining. He was patient, caring, interested and engaging. If you could see how he treated my son and how he made us feel you would know what I mean. Captain Robert Miley is the man I would love my son to become, the man I would like to be. He is the father I never knew but wish I had. Don't go fishing with Captain Miley just because he is good at fishing. Do go with him because he is one of the most decent human being you will ever meet. He just happens to be good at fishing as well:-)

Great trip with Capt. Miley We went out with Capt Robert Miley hunting for Peacock Bass and had a blast. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Capt Miley is very knowledgeable and had a lot of patience in dealing with a novice angler. The fishing and conversation was fun. Capt Miley and I fish some of the same waters in North Alabama. Not trustworthy Capt called the morning of the charter trying to reschedule. When booking, we were told we would be using live bait, capt told us the same - he didn't know the bait shop didn't have live bait during the week. Caught a couple of very small fish. So the booked charter met requirements. Capt told us he would set us up on a complimentary trip since he couldn't produce live bait as promised. Told us to call the day prior - called and texted numerous times, even up to noon of the day of the trip - kept getting back - working on it, get right back to you. Still haven't heard back and wasted the last day of vacation waiting for capt Roger to call. Spent 26 years working for the military - your word means something - guessing in this business it doesn't. Recommend avoid the frustration and book with a company that keeps their word. read moreread less

I have fished in and offshore for most of my adult life. my wife and I had the pleasure of a 6 hour trip with Capt. Roger Gonzales. I really did not know what to expect, he (roger) drops a 21 ft ranger in a canal behind a shopping center!!! my first thought was here we go!! roger is the ultimate professional. he put my wife and me at ease, and we were catching peacocks within the first five minutes!!! what a wonderful afternoon !! we actually caught around 20-25 fish, with the highlight of the day being back to back 5 pounders!!! if you have never fished for peacocks, imagine catching a 5 ib amberjack on 15 lb test... they just don't stop fighting or give up! my highest praise to capt roger, if I am ever back in the Miami area I will definitely fish with him again!!!
