CAPT DAN BIO
Capt Dan is a Florida native and has called South Florida his home for over 50 years. He grew up fishing lakes and ponds for Largemouth Bass and saltwater for Snook and Redfish. Capt Dan is an Army veteran (Military Police) and is a retired police officer from South Florida with 25 years of service. Capt Dan is now a full-time guide on Lake Okeechobee where iconic fish and scenery are known throughout the Bass world. Capt Dan also fishes Headwater and Lake Garcia.
Capt Dan would love to take you and your family to fish these beautiful waters for a catch of a lifetime.
Capt Dan is proficient with many light tackle techniques and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Artificial lures are his game, but live shiners are always good. Provided on all trips are rods, tackle (live bait at additional cost), and water. All you need is to purchase a Florida freshwater fishing license, bring snacks if desired, and prepare for a fun day!
Capt Dan is also knowledgeable in light tackle & fly fishing on all area lakes, the disabled are more than welcome to join my adventures.

1st to last excellent day A trip on the boat was booked for me by my wife as a birthday gift, AND WHAT A GIFT IT WAS!We went out catching some largemouth bass for bait first, then headed out to the fishing spot.AND WHAT A SPOT. I caught two 15+ lb. largemouth bass, and what a fight, especially when the tide is running. I also lost another.Fish were being caught all round the boat, and a family that was onboard caught a BIG ONE as well and had never caught one before. They were very chuffed, and a round of claps was given.Paul and Dan were always at hand helping and advising and catching more fresh bait as we were using it up quickly, which was a lovely touch. WELL DONE, GUYS.I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and am looking forward to going out again VERY SHORTLY.
