Capt Brett Isackson is a full-time fishing guide in South Florida. Do you want to explore South Florida the right way? Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Capt Brett was born and raised in South Florida in the fishing industry, with over 20+ years of fishing experience.
If you’re itching to experience the best South Florida fishing, he is your guy with the most experienced, most superior boat, and most adequate equipment. You can’t & won’t go wrong, specializing in largemouth Bass, Peacock bass, Snakehead, Clown knife fish, Oscars, and knowns the inshore saltwater fishing just as well. You choose to use live bait or artificial baits.
Enjoy a comfortable high-end ride aboard a spacious 22-foot Sterling boat powered by 250 HP Suzuki engine for more security and speed. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a fish finder, a VHF radio. There are custom fishing seats to make sure you have the most relaxing day out on the water. As well as that, the boat an ice-box, additional Yeti cooler for any extras you which to bring. We can accommodate up to four guests are welcome aboard.
Capt Brett likes to start just before sunrise but is open and flexible to your schedule. Included are the boat, fuel, cooler, ice, bottled water, and all tackle & equipment necessary for fishing. The trip ends when your ready; having a great time, let’s continue.

Awesome fishing Captain Brett Isackson took us out fishing and it was awesome!!! Caught so many peacock bass, largemouth bass, and Oscar. Great guide and very friendly and personable man. Peacock bass was on my bucket list and he didn't disappoint. He put us on the fish for an amazing day. We will definitely use him again the next time we return to Ft. Lauderdale. We had a great time as my brothers and i treated our father for Veterans Day!! From the beginning Captain Brett was excellent with communication and even recommended we switch from a crappie outing to bass, due to warm weather and crappie not truly in season yet. His recommendation did not fail as we caught plenty of bass!! His vessel and equipment was top notch and he was extremely courteous and provided a great guided fishing experience.

Good Family Day Myself and my three teenage boys had a great trip with Captain Brett. He is very personable, patient with the boys and really knows his craft. Great time and we caught about 50 fish. We truly had a great time and so will you!
Half day Trip A very relaxed trip, with good fishing spots, easy-going captain, and clean/working fishing equipment. Capt Brett took great care of my 2 kids (16 & 11) pointing out the how to set bait, cast in the right direction, and enjoy fishing safely. Capt Brett handled all the setting of bait, untangling line, tying new hooks and helping us understand the need for conservation of the Everglades’ ecosystem. Despite the massive rain shower, we caught fish under a bridge (Florida style), in addition to a quiet fishing spot away from the highway. We caught and released Peacock bass, Mayans, Oscars, Large Mouth Bass, Bowfins, and Gars. Capt Brett’s boat is in very good condition, with a new motor and very clean surfaces. Just remember, you’re exposed to the sun (no canopy), which was fine at 730am in April. The drive to the put-in location is at mile marker 41 in alligator alley so plan accordingly and start early. You will need to buy your license, and bait; Capt. Brett will meet you at his friend’s bait shop on the way. In my view, this trip is a 2-for-1 because not only do you fish, you see the Everglades in private for 4 hours. All in all, a great experience with Capt. Brett!

Pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett I just wanted to send a thank you for a great couple of days of fishing! My dad and I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett. We tried out the artificial bait bite and caught some fish, wasn't lucky enough to get a trophy fish but did have a great time on the lake. On the next day, we grabbed some wild shiners and hit the lake with high hopes for fish and fingers crossed that the weather would hold for us. Capt. Brett put us in some great spots and I was able to boat an 8 lb 10 oz beauty! We caught a lot of other nice fish that day as well! The weather held off long enough for us to get our 6 hours in and then unleashed that afternoon! I apologize for the long note, but I wanted everyone to know how great the experience was with Capt. Brett! He's a true professional, a great guide, and made the trip outstanding! I will definitely be booking again with Brett in the future! See y'all again real soon!!

We tried out the artificial bait bite and caught some fish, wasn't lucky enough to get a trophy fish but did have a great time on the lake. On the next day, we grabbed some wild shiners and hit the lake with high hopes for fish and fingers crossed that the weather would hold for us. Capt. Brett put us in some great spots and I was able to boat an 8 lb 10 oz beauty! We caught a lot of other nice fish that day as well! Awesome time with Captain Mark and Brett Took a short trip to Fort Lauderdale to do some fishing . Spent a great great day on the water with captain Mark Shepard. Not only did I catch my personal best but between me my wife and Captain Mark we solved all world problems lol. Then Kim and I spend a day In The Everglades with Captain Brett Isackson. The weather was not in our favor that day but we still caught fish. Captain Brett did everything he could to get on on the bite. But bad weather is something even he can’t control. Looking forward to fishing with both captain again. Thanks guys

Glad Capt. Brett is back!!!!!!!! Glad Capt. Brett is back!!!!!!!! I just got back from another awesome 3 day trip with Capt.Brett and 2 very good friends of mine, This is my 3rd trip fishing with Brett and he put us on some big Peacocks the 1st day in Ida which was awesome but the 2nd day he took us to the big O. for Bass, I pulled in a couple of 6 pounders and then a 8.14lb tank!! Biggest fish i ever caught!! The 3rd day was not so good..weather sucked but Capt Brett worked his butt off to put us on the fish..he is a great asset to your service...I highly recommend him.

First trip in the Everglades Brett was a great guide. Nice Sterling w/a Suzuki 250. Caught some largemouth, peacock and a bunch of hard fighting cichlids in 5 hours. Perfect weather, lots of birds and a few Gators as scenery. Looking to book a trip next April on Okeechobee.
Recommend him Capt. Brett always puts us on the fish. Been out with him on many occasions and would recommend him to anyone!!

Late December fishing Lake Okeechobee with captain Brett Isaackson We had great fun fishing two days with Brett Isaackson on Lake Okeechobee. We caught a large number of largemouth bass up to 8lbs over two days fishing. We had a great time and good conversation with Brett. He is fun to fish with and made our experience very enjoyable. We finally picked a few days that we did not suffer any cold front or weather problems as we have had on previous trips even though Captain Brett always overcame the odds & found us the fish. An excellent week I first want to thank Captain Bret and Captain Bob for making my week. Despite the tough conditions, both were able to get me on many peacock bass. They expertly put the boat where I needed it to be able to cast a fly to some really great fish. The front office moved my days around to ensure I had the best possible opportunities. I would go with them again this week if I didnât have to work.

Captain Brett was great! We had this trip given for a wedding gift! We had one amazing weekend catching fish!! Captain Brett took us out even though weather wasn't great. We caught a load of Peacock Bass and went inshore fishing the next day! I would highly recommend this company and their captains to anyone! Can't beat a day on the water!

Took different avenues to book the trip since I wasn't getting a response from their internet site. After clearing all that up the trip went off without a hitch. My wife and I went out with Brett and he worked his butt off trying to get us on the fish in 96 degree heat. Okeechobee in the summer My son and I fished Okeechobee in late June on a still, sunny morning with Captain Brett Isackson. In 4 hours we landed 30 bass, one of which was almost 10 lbs. It was incredible, the quality of fish was great and Captain Brett could not have been better. If you want a great experience call and ask for Captain Brett Isackson.

Only Way to GO My buddy Rick and I had 2 full days (Feb 4 and 5, 2017) on Lake Okeechobee with guid Brett Isackson, it was a blast. The first day he had us over 50 fish, with multiple 4,5,6,7 and an 8 pounder. The wind picked up the next day so we couldn't return to the same sport as the previous day, so Brett found us a different spot based on the wind conditions and direction. We got over 60 bass the second day, we really didn't think we could beat day 1, but did. Brett was a real pro. I got his name as a guide at Bass Online from a friend and had done one previous trip with he and another guide, and our boat got 49 on the Big O that day as well. Only Way to GO My buddy Rick and I had 2 full days (Feb 4 and 5, 2017) on Lake Okeechobee with guid Brett Isackson, it was a blast. The first day he had us over 50 fish, with multiple 4,5,6,7 and an 8 pounder. The wind picked up the next day so we couldn't return to the same sport as the previous day, so Brett found us a different spot based on the wind conditions and direction. We got over 60 bass the second day, we really didn't think we could beat day 1, but did. Brett was a real pro. I got his name as a guide at Bass Online from a friend and had done one previous trip with he and another guide, and our boat got 49 on the Big O that day as well. I'd highly recommend Brett for any trip, this guy can put you on quality fish as well as quantity. Thanks again for a great 2 days Brett!!!

Lake Okeechobee My dad and I had a great time fishing with Capt Brett Isackson, on Thursday June 5th, out on the south eastern beginning of Lake Okeechobee. We each caught in the high teens, lost another 5 or so each. Dad caught a superb 10.5 lb Lake Okeechobee largemouth bass. "Brett really knew where to take us, and had the patience for us to ride out the lulls. The fish came back to the holding area he directed us to. Wish I could go more often!"

Best Fishing Trip Ever My wife and I fished with Captain Brett on Lake Ida a few years ago and we had the best fishing trip ever. He is the best fishing guide we have ever had!!!! We will be booking with him again. We are already planning another vacation to Ft Lauderdale this fall.

An unexpected cold front came through and they still managed to get us to the Peacock Bass and large mouth which typically like the warmer temperatures. This was our second trip with this company and we are already planning another.

The last time I was into so many big and energetic Peacock Bass was in the '70s in Guyana where we called them Lukanani. We were lucky enough to boat a really nice 8lb 10oz bass and many more smaller fish. Missed a few fish that could have been real nice as well! Capt Brett couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating if he tried! He had us change our meeting place to better find the fish we were hoping to find. He did a great job finding the best spots for some great fishing! We got lucky and the weather held off for our 6 hour trip then completely let loose that afternoon. Hopefully Capt Brett and a client didn't have an afternoon trip planned for later that day, if they did then I'm sure they got washed off the lake! The day far exceeded anything I could have imagined. The boys and I were thrilled with Captain Brett and every aspect of the trip. Thanks for a great day My sons and I went fishing with Capt Brett yesterday. My expectations were very high as it was something I had wanted to do since I was a child. The day far exceeded anything I could have imagined. The boys and I were thrilled with Captain Brett and every aspect of the trip. 3-day fishing trip I just finished a 3-day fishing trip with my buddy with Bass Fishing Florida. We were in search of largemouth and peacock bass. Our guide Captain Tony took us out for 3 wonderful days of fishing. First off Captain Tony is a wonderful guide and will definitely be my guide for all future trips. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and really put us on the fish. He is willing to do whatever to make sure you have a great day fishing. Our first day was for largemouth and we boated close to 40 fish. Great day at Holiday Park. On our second day, we went in search of Peacock bass and netted close to 30 of them. Including a monster Peacock! The fight on those fish is not to be missed. On our third and sadly last day we netted close to 60 fish. We just didn’t want to leave. Like I said Tony will put you on the fish! We had a great time and will be back next time for a 5-day fishing trip. Our whole experience was great from the hotel to the arraignments to our fantastic guide. The best fishing trip I have ever been on…. This will definitely be a yearly trip for me twice a year if the wife lets me… Thanks again for making sure we had a great time… and happy fishing.

Wonderful website. I just wanted to thank you for the information you post on your website and the great trip. Ever since I got out of the Marine corp I have been bass fishing a lot. I didn't know much about the how's and where's of bass fishing since I grew up in a saltwater fishing household. I attached a small clip that I put together of my dad catching a big Okeechobee bass. We are both hooked on baitcasting reels now that you have shown us the light. I learned a great deal on the trip and loved every minute of it. Thanks for putting us on fish...it was AWESOME !!!

From the beginning Captain Brett was excellent with communication and even recommended we switch from a crappie outing to bass, due to warm weather and crappie not truly in season yet. His recommendation did not fail as we caught plenty of bass!! His vessel and equipment was top notch and he was extremely courteous and provided a great guided fishing experience.

Good Family Day Myself and my three teenage boys had a great trip with Captain Brett. He is very personable, patient with the boys and really knows his craft. Great time and we caught about 50 fish. We truly had a great time and so will you!
Half day Trip A very relaxed trip, with good fishing spots, easy-going captain, and clean/working fishing equipment. Capt Brett took great care of my 2 kids (16 & 11) pointing out the how to set bait, cast in the right direction, and enjoy fishing safely. Capt Brett handled all the setting of bait, untangling line, tying new hooks and helping us understand the need for conservation of the Everglades’ ecosystem. Despite the massive rain shower, we caught fish under a bridge (Florida style), in addition to a quiet fishing spot away from the highway. We caught and released Peacock bass, Mayans, Oscars, Large Mouth Bass, Bowfins, and Gars. Capt Brett’s boat is in very good condition, with a new motor and very clean surfaces. Just remember, you’re exposed to the sun (no canopy), which was fine at 730am in April. The drive to the put-in location is at mile marker 41 in alligator alley so plan accordingly and start early. You will need to buy your license, and bait; Capt. Brett will meet you at his friend’s bait shop on the way. In my view, this trip is a 2-for-1 because not only do you fish, you see the Everglades in private for 4 hours. All in all, a great experience with Capt. Brett!

Half day Trip A very relaxed trip, with good fishing spots, easy-going captain, and clean/working fishing equipment. Capt Brett took great care of my 2 kids (16 & 11) pointing out the how to set bait, cast in the right direction, and enjoy fishing safely. Capt Brett handled all the setting of bait, untangling line, tying new hooks and helping us understand the need for conservation of the Everglades’ ecosystem. Pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett I just wanted to send a thank you for a great couple of days of fishing! My dad and I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. Brett. We tried out the artificial bait bite and caught some fish, wasn't lucky enough to get a trophy fish but did have a great time on the lake. On the next day, we grabbed some wild shiners and hit the lake with high hopes for fish and fingers crossed that the weather would hold for us. Capt. Brett put us in some great spots and I was able to boat an 8 lb 10 oz beauty! We caught a lot of other nice fish that day as well! The weather held off long enough for us to get our 6 hours in and then unleashed that afternoon! I apologize for the long note, but I wanted everyone to know how great the experience was with Capt.
