Captain Brent Nelson had the pleasure of fishing with Kent and his wife. They were traveling to Central Florida looking to enjoy some time with family as well as get some bass fishing in. Just before this fishing trip there plane touched down. They had to race here in order to make it and get on the bass.
It was not long until we got on the fish. Captain Brent did everything he could in order to prevent and dodge rainstorms on the way to their first spots. The action was hot and heavy right from the start. All the fish were caught using wild-caught live shiners. This is the best method to partake in if you are looking to catch some big numbers and quality of largemouth bass.
Kent and his wife both caught their personal best Florida largemouth bass. The largest fish weighed close to 6 pounds. You truly can’t beat the action here in Central Florida. They are looking forward to getting back on the water with Captain Brent again soon!
Just shortly after this amazing fishing trip, Captain John Leech adventured out Lake Toho Bass Fishing. Clifford and his son Christian were looking to cash in on the action here in Central Florida. Christian was starting at UCF and they wanted to get out on the water while they still could this summer.
Clifford and Christian are both avid anglers. They went out in search of some big bass on artificial baits. It was a great trip with great numbers in the boat. The most effective artificial bait was a Texas rigged speed worm. Christian knew how to work the worm just right in order to have some success.
Lake Toho has been very productive lately and will continue this pattern through the end of the year. Clifford and Christian caught 22 largemouth bass with the biggest weighing in at 4 pounds. They were ecstatic to spend this time on the water with each other as well as catch some nice bass.
Captain Brent Nelson is looking forward to the next opportunity to get out on the boat with this father-son duo again!

Personal Best Fishing Trips in Central Florida

Captain Steve Niemoeller is a seasoned and local expert that has been fishing in Central Florida for years. Lake Toho Bass Fishing is one of his many specialties. Captain Steve had the pleasure of fishing with Brian, his son Dylan, and his girlfriend, Diane. They were traveling from Canada to Central Florida for a convention. While they were here, they had to get out on the water and go bass fishing.
Brian, Dylan, and Diane are used to fishing for smallmouth bass in Canada. They wanted to truly experience what Florida bass fishing is all about. The bass fishing was fantastic on this fishing trip. They caught some quality numbers on wild-caught live shiners. Diane caught the biggest bass of her life, weighing in at 5.3 pounds.
Captain Steve is looking forward to catching another big bass with them next time they visit Lake Toho!
Wanting a Good Fishing Trip
Shortly after this fishing trip, another incredible location produced a fantastic fishing trip. The Butler Chain of Lakes is located in Windermere, Florida, right outside Orlando. Captain Devin Dickerson had the pleasure of fishing with Joe and Leslie traveling from Colorado. These friends put a smackdown on the largemouth. They adventured out on an 8-hour fishing trip putting significant numbers of quality largemouth bass in the boat.
The Butler Chain is highly productive for both artificial baits and live bait. During the morning hours, they fished wild shiners over prominent lake grass patches for there personal best fishing trips. Also, trolling shiners along hard lines can produce a great bite. Joe and Leslie also threw some artificial baits and caught them on flukes, speed worms, swimbaits, and topwater baits on schooling fish. They caught 48 Florida largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds.
Captain Brent is looking forward to having another successful and great day on the water with these lovely people!

Ongoing Success on this Day
Artificial baits were highly productive on this fishing trip. Steel Shad topwater baits along with several bladed baits in shad color were very effective. They also caught them on some soft plastic rigs including the Carolina rig and Texas rigged worms. James and Joe landed 25 largemouth bass weighing up to 4.5 pounds. You can’t beat a day like that on the water.
They had an absolutely fantastic time on the water and are looking forward to the next time they can get out with Captain Devin.
Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Devin adventured out on another bass fishing trip. Cameron and Nick came out for an early morning fishing trip for 6 hours. The bite was fast and furious from the start. They threw a mix of live bait and artificial baits.
The majority of the bass were caught on wild-caught live shiners. However, they also caught them on speed worms and bladed jigs. One of the main reasons that the artificial baits were working so well was that the water levels are rising. This allows for fish to move around a greater surface of grass structures making it easier for us to target them. Cameron and Nick caught bass up to 5 pounds!
Cameron and Nick had an awesome time fishing with Captain Devin. They are looking forward to the next opportunity to do it again!

Despite stormy weather, Richard and Mike landed over 26 largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed up to 4.5 pounds. Wild-caught shiners were the most effective bait to catch the bass. If you focus on the main lake vegetation, you will have the best success in landing a quality bass.
Don’t count out these late summer months for producing a productive bite. You never know what will happen when fishing here in Florida, especially on the Butler Chain. Captain Brent looks forward to another amazing time fishing with Richard and Mike.
After this fantastic fishing trip, Captain Steve Niemoeller adventured with Brian and his son Dylan. They were traveling from Mississippi to spend time here in Florida on vacation. While visiting, they had to get out on the Butler Chain of Lakes fishing guides. It was a great time to do so as the bite fired up during this fishing trip.
The bass was schooling on Lake Butler. It is always exciting to fish a school of largemouth bass. You can throw topwater baits on them, and they will eat them up. Speed worms are also very successful. Brian and Dylan adventured on a quick fishing trip with 12 fish in the boat!

Captain Devin had the pleasure of fishing with Jose and Nicole. They were looking to go to Lake Toho Bass Fishing in Kissimmee, Florida. All they wanted to do was land some quality bass and spend some time on the water. Lake Toho was a great option for them, as the bass fishing has been spectacular best Wheel Chair Bass Fishing.
Early morning fishing has been the most successful, especially on this fishing trip. As the morning hours pushed on, the bite slowed down, especially when the wind stopped blowing. That did not stop Nicole and Jose from staying patient and catching some quality largemouth bass. They put several fish in the boat weighing up to 4 pounds.
Captain Brent was truly touched to have the opportunity to fish with these amazing people. Nicole was confined to a wheelchair but that did not stop her. Another absolutely amazing part of this fishing trip was that this was their first fish ever. Nicole and Jose both caught their first fish. It is always a blessing to be part of something so magical.
Captain Brent is looking forward to this opportunity again in the future!

Just shortly after this amazing fishing trip, Captain Steve Niemoeller adventure out on Lake Toho in Kissimmee. Bertrand and his finance Dominque were traveling from Austria looking to get some Florida bass fishing in. When you visit from another country, make sure you get out and experience everything that Florida has to offer by choosing the best Wheel Chair Bass Fishing!
They were on vacation and have been staying here for a couple of weeks. Bass Fishing was most certainly on the list. It was a perfect afternoon for bass fishing and they went out to explore what they could get themselves into. Lake Toho is a great lake to throw artificial and live bait. You can have success on both. They caught fish on topwater walking baits and soft plastics.
Betrand and Dominque were awesome people to fish with. As a Captain, one of the best parts about meeting new people is the ability to get a taste of their world and culture. They also provided insight on other fishing trips that they experienced while visiting especially in Ft Lauderdale and Shark fishing in the Keys.
They landed several-quality largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds. The fishing has been really great this time of year and will only consistently get better! Captain Steve is looking forward to fishing with them again next time they visit Florida.
