Hendry County Florida Bass Fishing has been a blessing as of lately. Clewsiton can bring in some better quality largemouth you are looking for fishing Lake Okeechobee.
I had the pleasure to fish with Kyle, a young man visiting and traveling to Florida from Canada. This was Kyle’s first time on the Lake and also fishing for largemouth bass.
In Canada, the fishing consists of mainly salmon and trout. Kyle likes to fly fish and today he was in for a treat Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing.
Florida is the sunshine state and they do not call it that for no reason. You have to come prepared to be out in the sun in order for you not to be affected. Kyle got burnt really bad and we cut the amazing trip a couple of hours.
Catching his personal best largemouth bass was the highlight of the day, weighing 6 pounds and 4 ounces.
Finishing up their vacation with a cruise to the islands, Lake Okeechobee was a must experience.

Lake Okeechobee Florida Fishing Charter
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Honestly, I am a blessed fisherman and guide. This season has been amazing. I have guided people to their personal best largemouth bass more times to count. I would like thank all the people that I have made memories with and you should come fishing with the Personal Best Lake Okeechobee Florida Fishing Charter.
One of my repeats, Wes, came out to fish with us today. This time he brought his son AJ to experience what fishing Lake Okeechobee is all about. We had a fantastic day.
The biggest fish was caught by Wes. It weighed 8 ¼ pounds, a true Okeechobee beast. AJ caught a 6 ¼ to top off the day. They both caught really quality fish, they will never forget.
Artificial bite is on as well. We finished up the day flipping jigs around reed heads and caught a couple more quality fish.
The Lake has just been on fire and if you were looking to get in some fishing while it is hot, book now because we are filling up quick.

Long Time Friends Fish Lake Okeechobee
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Well folks, here is another great one from Lake Okeechobee. The fishing could not get any better right now, Lake Okeechobee is on FIRE. It is always nice to have Long Time Friends Fish Lake Okeechobee.
I had my long-time friend, Jim Roberston out with me today. He also brought his and my good friend, Okie, from Sweden. Okie comes over once a year and I always looking forward to fishing with him.
The lake, as always, is doing super well. We had a lot of fun with great numbers. The fishing was steady, how I like it.
The conditions held the bite perfect. As the winds picked up slightly, the bite got better. It is always a good time to fish with these two gentlemen.

Largemouth Bass Fish Lake Okeechobee

Many people wonder Why You Should Largemouth Bass Fish Lake Okeechobee; Well folks, I am here to tell you. We took out Tina and Todd today. They traveled all the way from Toledo, Ohio to fish the big females that are spawning right now. It has always been a dream to fish for Lake Okeechobee Largemouth and we sure had something for them today.
Tina and Todd are passionate about the sport. They know my work from watching my feed and wanted to catch their personal best largemouth bass. Their personal best was in the range of 3 to 4 pounds. Largemouths do not have the luxury to grow as large as they do down here in Ohio.
First Timers Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee
I have been greatly blessed these past couple of months. The fishing has been outstanding. Follow our social media to catch up on our incredible photos and stories.
Both Todd and Tina got their personal best. Tina had two fish over 8 pounds, one 8 ¾ and another 8 ¼ pounds. That is an unbelievable day and the sole reason why you should fish Lake Okeechobee this time of year. His biggest fish was 7 pounds, which is a monster fish for your average person.
That is just how it has been going here. The ladies have been putting a hurting on the men. So many quality fish were caught; anywhere from 4 to 6 pounds.
What a great day, we had a blast. Lake Okeechobee is doing fantastic as always. The water is coming down. If you get a chance, you have to come to see this place. I have toured all over the United States and I still call Lake Okeechobee Home.

Birthday Wish Granted Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Well Folks, we had an amazing day on the water. Robert came all the way from Arizona to fish Lake Okeechobee for the first time on his birthday. He is turning 40 and what better way to spend it then out on the water catching largemouth bass.
It is always a pleasure to have a Birthday Wish Granted Fishing Lake Okeechobee.
Robert is new to fishing so he wanted to come out and learn some techniques to improve. Well, he was in for a treat. His personal best largemouth was 2 lbs and we went out to fix that.
Fighting through the cold weather and the wind made the day interesting. It has been like that for the last couple of days but the lake is producing GIANTS. Today was just filled with quality fish.
Robert not only caught his personal best today, but caught a boat load of fish that were over his 2 lb PB. The biggest largemouth bass was 7 and ¼ pounds, his new PB. He also caught a 6 ¼ and 5 ½ pound largemouth. That is the definition of a good day for someone that has only caught a 2 lber.
We had a lot of fun for a short 6 hour trip. Once it warms up a bit, the artificial bite will be back on and steady. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to catch them when it does.
