One of the best fishing trips to take is those where you can experience live and artificial baits. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing can most certainly supply you with the benefits of both aspects of Florida Fishing. Enjoy a Chatter Bait Bass Fishing trip next time you visit Florida.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Josh on Lake Okeechobee. We fished out of Clewiston, which is one of the best locations to fish out of on the South End of the Lake. It has some gorgeous scenery and great fishing.

The winds calmed and picked up throughout our fishing trip. It made for tricky fishing conditions but we still managed to make it happen and put some quality largemouth bass in the boat. We first went through the shiners which took some time to start.

Once the shiners were done, we started throwing artificial baits. Chatter bait and swimbaits were effective in catching good numbers of largemouth bass. Josh caught a total of 30 bass with one weighing 4.5 and another weighing 5 pounds. Many of the bass ranged from 1-3 pounds though.

For Josh’s first time on Lake Okeechobee, he had a great fishing experience. I am looking forward to fishing with him again in the future to catch even more bass. Don’t miss out on your adventure on Lake Okeechobee today!!

I had the pleasure to fish with two gentlemen that wanted to come to catch some big numbers of largemouth bass. One of the best ways to do that is to throw soft plastics and top waters throughout the canals.

There was a light breeze pushing us down the canals which are always nice. You can’t beat just turning off your trolling motor and letting the wind move you at just the right place. The fishing conditions were perfect for catching bass.

These two gentlemen boated 80 largemouth bass with no giants in the boat. Most of the fish caught are between 1-3 pounds. The fish are biting and still spawning out. Even the peacock bass are spawning as well.

As the months roll by, it is going to continue to get better. Don’t miss out on your adventure to catch largemouth bass in South Florida in the best place to do it, the Everglades!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Jim and his grandson Chris along with his Dad Jim. They wanted to come bass fishing and catch as many fish as they could in their short time on the water. We had action right from the very start.

Jim, Jim, and Chris had a fantastic time on the water. We threw a variety of baits and lures to catch the big numbers that we did. They put 70 largemouth bass in the boat. One thing about the Glades is that it will continue to get better.

Much larger fish will continue to be caught. We saw some 6-8 pound females already present getting ready for their final spawns. I am looking forward to fishing with these gentlemen again in the future.

Jerry had a blast catching between 50 to 70 largemouth bass. Most of the fish weighed between 1.5 to 6 pounds. Senkos, Jerk baits, and topwater were the most effective baits.
