Central Florida Fishing

Hi this is Capt John Leech with my Lake Toho fishing report.

It is always a pleasure to take out get to experience what Florida has to offer with a Chamber of Commerce member. Doug Azar and his son wanted to see what all the fuss was about on Lake Toho. Today was a perfect day to go Central Florida Fishing.

Light winds and the warm weather really added to how great the day was. The conditions granted an excellent day Florida Fishing.

We delivered the young man his personal best, weighing just less than 5 pounds. I always love watch the reactions patrons have when they catch a big fish.

Lake Toho has been producing quality fish and it is your time to come and catch yours. I had a blast with Doug and his son and I am looking forward to fishing with them again.

Until next time, tight lines!

Lake Toho Bass Fishing Report- Kissimmeee Florida

Toho Bass Fishing Report

Hi this is Capt John Leech with my Lake Toho fishing report.

I had the pleasure to fish the “pond” or Lake Toho today with Steve and his buddy Gary and son Cody. This Lake Toho Bass Fishing Report is one reason why this lake is on fire right now. Central Florida holds some of the best bass fishing in the state all year round.

We caught them up today with a start of 3 fish in the boat weighing 5 pounds. We also caught plenty of 4 pounders as well. The lake has been producing the quality and numbers we are looking for. As the colder months push away, the bite gets even better.

Most of the fish were caught trolling live shiners over the edges of grass lines. One of the more effective methods catching largemouth bass on Lake Toho is trolling.

As spring rolls around, the artificial bite on the lake will get much better. Top water action also picks up, making fishing the lake irresistible.

Come Catch Yours on the Lake Today!!!

University Professors Take Over Lake Toho Bass Fishing Florida

University Professors Take Over Lake Toho Bass Fishing Florida

University Professors Take Over Lake Toho

Hi, this is Capt John Leech with your Lake Toho fishing report.

Central Florida holds some of the best bodies of water to fish for largemouth bass in the nation. Lake Toho is at the top of the list. It produces quality fish all year round and today was no different. It was time for University Professors to Take Over Lake Toho Bass Fishing Florida.

We had another great day with Patrick and his buddies Taco and Joe. Patrick teaches at Indiana University. Taco and Joe teach at Purdue University. It is always a pleasure to learn and teach a little something at the same time.

Fishing sometimes can be a delicate art, where timing and precision become of utmost importance. Most largemouth bass love to take their time eating bait or an artificial lure. If you do not give it the proper time to allow the fish to secure the bait before you set the hook, will most likely lead to losing that fish.

It was not long after providing that information to my patrons that they locked in on what they had to do and started catching quality largemouth. Each of them caught a solid limit of bass weighing on average 15 pounds. They truly had a blessed day at Lake Toho Bass Fishing Florida.

Arriving back at the boat ramp mobbed with people was a surprise as I thought the tournament ended earlier. The weigh-in was going on and Patrick, Taco, and Joe got to witness the leader, leading with 12 pounds. They all felt like heroes after that with their average weight for the day. That was a perfect end to a great day.

One thing that is amazing about fishing is that it has a unique way of neutralizing the playing field so everyone can enjoy it. Come experience an outdoor adventure you will never forget.

We had a great time on the water with a bunch of laughs. I am looking forward to their return on their next break from University.

Till next time, Tight Lines!

Grandson Goes Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Toho

Grandson Goes Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Toho

Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Toho

Hi, this is Capt John Leech with my Lake Toho fishing report.

What another great day folks, I had the pleasure to fish with Ted Browson and his grandson Steven. It was going to be an amazing experience for Steven; this would be his first guided experience at Largemouth Bass Fishing at Lake Toho.

The day started strong and Steven was already having a blast. His first fish was 4 1/2 pounds. He did really great getting in a fish like that with little experience. Most bass over 3 pounds love to bury themselves and get caught up in the thick grass.

The quality of the fish was maintained. He ended up with 5 or 6 fish, with every fish caught over 3 pounds. The granddad did well too. He just did not catch any big fish; he wanted to leave that to his grandson.

Here is to another great day on the water and I can’t wait for their return to fish Lake Toho again.

Trolling Open Water on Lake Toho for Largemouth Bass

Trolling Open Water on Lake Toho for Largemouth Bass

Hi this is Capt John Leech with my Lake Toho fishing report.

I had the pleasure to take out Todd Craver today to do some Trolling Open Water on Lake Toho for Largemouth Bass. I love fishing Lake Toho because it allows you to use a multitude of techniques. As a guide, it is integral to have different ways to catch them especially when they are not biting one method.

One of my favorite techniques is trolling. It really gets the bait where it needs to be. You really have to be able to read the water in order for this technique to be effective. You have to know what structure is key for holding largemouth bass.

We found the fish though in open water, along key edges. The largemouth bass on Lake Toho is schooling up really well this time of year. One of the better aspects of trolling is that you can cover more water. Once you find the school you want to fish in, you can stop and focus on it.

Todd had an amazing two-day adventure with us. We went through 4 dozen shiners each day and had a great time. The biggest fish weighed about 6 pounds. You really can not beat coming down to Central Florida to do some Trolling for Largemouth Bass on Lake Toho.

I am looking forward to him coming back soon and getting back out on the Pond.

This is Captain John Leech, and I hope you catch the fish of your dreams!
