Capt Spencer Cookson is a full-time bass fishing guide in Florida from September – May and in New England during the summer months. While in Florida he will be guiding for Peacocks, Largemouth, and Clown Knifefish on the Lake Ida – Osborn Chain, Everglades, and Headwaters Lake.

Spencer has been a full-time guide for 4 years and is gaining experience every day. In his first season fishing the Major League Fishing Phoenix Bass Fishing League he ranked 26 out of 250 anglers in the Northeast division, with two top 10 finishes on Lake Champlain. Spencer is an avid shallow-water grass fisherman and is extremely to be in Florida for the winter.

Spencer offers a beautiful Skeeter ZXR 20 bass boat powered by a 250hp Yamaha Vmax Engine. His boat is loaded with top-of-the-line tournament-grade Douglas Rods, Shimano, and Lews Reels, and all the tackle you could need.

Spencer likes to start early but is very flexible on timing, and is here to make sure you have an enjoyable day on the water. Spencer’s passion is teaching and putting great clients on fish.

						Great experience! GREAT TIME!!!Got my Bama tail humbled on some frog action. Spencer is a TOTAL PRO! Wind and rain didn’t stop us from fishing hard. Great trip!

						Great trip Did a 4-hour bass fishing trip with my 11-year-old daughter and we had a blast. Since we are inexperienced anglers, Spencer (our guide) showed us everything from how to cast to how to not get our lines stuck. Since we were there for fun, he scouted a few locations where it was easy to get bites and we ended up catching a lot of bass. The highlight of the day was when my daughter hooked a big pickerel, and Spencer helped her reel it in and land it in a net. Tons of fun - would highly recommend!
