Another amazing feeling is when the fishing charter exceeds their expectations.
The smallmouth bass were on the move and the big bass was out to play. Morgan and Garrett caught over 50 bass on their two fishing trips. The biggest bass weighed up to 5 pounds. Water temperatures ranged from 47-51 degrees making for some chilly conditions. As you can see though, that did not stop the smallmouth bass from biting.
The most productive baits on this fishing trip were drop shots, jerk baits, and tubes. Lake Erie is a great place to catch bass on artificial lures. As the water temperatures warm, the big females will begin to bed. Once this happens, trophy bass will start to be caught!
