Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with Chelsea and Joey traveling from Indiana. They wanted to come experience what Lake Erie had to offer.
Chelsea and Joey both love Florida Fishing and I knew I could get them hooked on Lake Erie as well.
It was on fire today and we caught an incredible amount of smallmouth bass. They caught over 110 bass on a multitude of different patterns.
Some of the best techniques right now are drop shots, shaky heads, goliath grubs, and wacky worms. Most of these fish were in 2 to 5 feet of
water.
We caught 15 bass over 5 pounds and 30 over 4 pounds. Chelsea caught a Trophy Smallmouth bass weighing 5 pounds 8 ounces.
They had the time of their life and a fishing adventure they will never forget. I am looking forward to fishing with them again soon.
