Best of both Saltwater and Freshwater Fishing.

This is Captain Steve with your fishing report for October 24th Saturday. I took Jim, Cindy and their son James out fishing on Saltwater Friday then Saturday we went freshwater fishing on Lake Toho for some bass. They had a friend from Louisiana who was on the show Swamp People. He was on the show for a season or so and now he’s going to be a professional Wrestler. They brought him along with fishing today and we caught a few Bass. We had a pretty good day.

Had a lot of fun with Zeze, Jim, Cindy, and their son James. Looking forward to having them come back maybe in the spring and see about trying to catch a 10-pound Bass. Pretty excited about that and looking forward to seeing them again.

Landed around 35 Fish with Capt Kip Grunloh

Landed around 35 Fish with Capt Kip Grunloh

Hello, everyone. This is Captain Kip Grunloh. This is my fishing report for October 22nd. I fished with Robert and Greg from Colorado today. We fished a 6 hour trip this morning and what a trip it was we landed around 35 fish. We had a 9 pounder and 7 pound Bass that were our biggest Bass on the day. We burned out of four dozen shiners before 9 a.m. Then we switched over to artificial and wrecked them as well. Fishing has really started turning around. Fishing is good in the mornings, afternoons and before dark. That is it for today, remember please take the kids fishing.

Getting a lot of fish in the Boat

Captain Mark Shepherd with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report. Well, folks on the water with Dan from Wisconsin were all that good cheese comes from. These guys just love to fish mainly using spinner rods and never used a bait cast before. We got out on the Lake using some live bait to start the day out and got huge numbers. We did really well with using the live bait. Nothing was super big but just really steady fishing and the best part of the day was teaching them how to throw Bait Caster. I got working with these guys and they took to it like fish to the water, they did a fantastic job. Then we moved out into the grass flats out in the swamp. Started teaching them about the swimbaits and frogs, we ended up catching a few doing that and that’s something they can take home with them from their vacation. That’s something that will last them for a lifetime. This was a great way to spend the day with a lot of fun. It was very windy out on the lake but we made the best of it by putting a lot of fish in the boat today. This is Captain Mark Shepherd, Tight lines Everybody.

Lake Okeechobee just getting fired up!

Lake Okeechobee just getting fired up!

Captain Mark Shepherd with Lake Okeechobee fishing report. Well folks out on the water with two of my favorite clients that I haven’t seen  in over a year, but they’ve fished with me quite a bit over the years.  We’ve had a lot of great adventures and today we really had a great time.  Lee and Sharon Frazier are from Georgia and they always bring me some good treats down. We had a wonderful day catching some super nice fish with some really good numbers. The weather’s perfect with Lake Okeechobee just getting fired up!  The Lake is starting to get away from that summer pattern and migrations are starting to move in a little bit and the fun is begin.  It’s going to be a wonderful season.  The waters beautiful and we’re able to get around really easy if the water being up.  I’m looking for a great season.  This is Captain Mark Shepard wishing you tight lines.
