30 Bass in a 6 hour period!

30 Bass in a 6 hour Period up to 5-1/2 Pounds

This is Captain Steve Niemoeller with your fishing report for St Johns River…I took one of my repeat customers, Ray, from Jacksonville and one of the guys that work for him out on the St Johns River today.  We probably had one of our better days, we caught around 30 Bass in a 6 hour period. We had Bass up to 5 and a half pounds, really had a great time!

The first time that Brian who works for Ray had ever gone bass fishing. So he really had a good time… Ray comes down with me about 4 times a year, he goes out with me every time and today was one of the better times.  I know that Ray will be coming back and probably be bringing Brian with him.

Captain Doug Jansen on Lake Ida with Repeat Customers

Hello, This is Captain Doug Jansen reporting from Palm Beach County Lake Ida on October 29th. I took out fishing today some repeat customer. Sandy Flaster and Lou there’re from Chicago, there’re snow birds and they’re down for the season. They’re ready to do some fishing today out on Lake Ida. We started the day with 7 dozen shiners. Things are a little slow at first but then they caught quite a few Peacock Bass and a couple of Largemouth Bass thrown in there. The largest fish was maybe about 3 pound Peacock Bass, that made them pretty happy. Before the trip was over they were already plan another in November to go out on Lake Okeechobee. I’m looking forward to them coming back. The weather was 85 today partly Cloudy great for fishing. Little breezy overall but a very good trip and looking forward to seeing them again. Captain Doug, keep your lines tight!

Best of both Saltwater and Freshwater Fishing.

This is Captain Steve with your fishing report for October 24th Saturday. I took Jim, Cindy and their son James out fishing on Saltwater Friday then Saturday we went freshwater fishing on Lake Toho for some bass. They had a friend from Louisiana who was on the show Swamp People. He was on the show for a season or so and now he’s going to be a professional Wrestler. They brought him along with fishing today and we caught a few Bass. We had a pretty good day.

Had a lot of fun with Zeze, Jim, Cindy, and their son James. Looking forward to having them come back maybe in the spring and see about trying to catch a 10 pound Bass. Pretty excited about that and looking forward to seeing them again.
