Lake Okeechobee Big Bass Fishing Adventures- Clewiston FL
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing guide report.
Lake Okeechobee has been affected by weather conditions. I have not updated you, folks, in a while and would like to. The water level is at 14 ft with heavy winds most days. We got lucky and had a couple of nice days to break things up. Besides the wind, this week has been packed with Lake Okeechobee Big Bass Fishing Adventures out of Clewiston, FL.
The fishing was excellent this week. I found a ton of big girls for my customers. Most of them caught their personal best. Check out my past fishing report for more information on what the lake has been pumping out this year.
Today, we had Debbie and her husband, Daniel, out on Lake Okeechobee for the first time. This was not their first time in Florida, but their first time deciding to take a fishing charter. What an experience they had.
Debbie wanted to beat her personal best largemouth bass of 8 1/2 pounds. Women have great luck when they get out on this beautiful lake. Fortunately, her dream came true. She caught a fish that weight 9 1/2 pounds. She now has a new personal best to beat. A double-digit Lake Okeechobee giant is up next.
What a fantastic week it has been. Do not wait; go on a fishing adventure of a lifetime.
Captain Mark, All the best!

Mike & Mike Fishing Lake Okeechobee For Monster Largemouth Bass
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Here is your Mike & Mike Fishing Lake Okeechobee For Monster Largemouth Bass report. Well, folks, it was a really great day out on the water. Had the pleasure to fish with one of my friends, Mike, who brought a friend with him named Mike and his wife.
I could not have asked for a better day on the lake. We had over 50 fish on the boat. Some of them were small, but the best part about it, most of them were between the 2 and 4-pound range. We caught some bigger ones as well.
It just turned out to be a dream day. A 9 1/2 pound, an 8 1/4 pound, and a bunches of 6’s too. Lake Okeechobee is on fire this time of year, especially pre-front.
Here is a pro tip for you! Some key structures to look out for are any outside edges with isolated grass. The Largemouth love to stage around or in that grass.
We also do crappie fishing down here. My good buddy, Matt herring, an elite pro was here with me for a few days, and we’ve been searching for crappie. It’s been a lot of fun, the fishing is awesome and they are delicious.
The season is looking great. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to fish Lake Okeechobee folks, have a wonderful day.

First Timers Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report, well folks Oh my gosh the last few days have been little tough.
Here is your, First Timers Largemouth Bass Fishing Lake Okeechobee, report. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect throughout the day. I love fishing when there is an overcast day, where it doesn’t ever get too hot. It’s just wonderful. I think it stayed around 70 degrees on the water.
It may have been a bit warmer. I was blessed to fish with George and his wife Marianne from Pennsylvania, first time ever on the big O. They go down to the Florida Keys to fly fish for redfish and other gamefish. The big fish today was up six and a half. We caught solid fish all day long, Which is a blessing on the backside of a full moon. Great folks to meet and we just had a blast. Don’t miss out on your opportunity with Captain mark, all the best.

Here is your, Long-Time Customer Lake Okeechobee Largemouth Bass Fishing report. We are out on the water with Stephen Taylor, he is one of those customers that have been around for a long time. I met him when he was a little bitty feller, and now he’s a senior in high school. We absolutely had a wonderful dream day out on the water. Lifted up the little bit love, in order to get those big fish then come on the line. We got a new personal best for this young man, 9 & 3 quarter.
We had big females coming in just one right after another, just a dream day that you couldn’t ask for a better one. I’m looking forward to watching this young man’s career grow as he goes off to college and gets into the fishing teams at the university. He’s going to try to get involved in that very heavily that this young man studies everything there is to know about bass fishing with a passion, even though it’s very competitive. I think he’s going to be somebody to keep an eye on in the future. I’ve got a great great opportunity to do wonderful things in the world of fishing this is Captain Mark shepherd. Trophy Bass Caught On The South Side Of Lake Okeechobee
This is Capt Mark Shepard with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report, well folks Oh my gosh the last few days have been little tough.
Jim Robertson is back in town, catching a few fish, and it is cold out, but one of my favorite things about cold weather, It does turn around, and the water temperature is starting to come up, I was out with Charlie and Pete from New Jersey super cool guys and a lot of fun to hang out with.
the bite started off slow cause the weather is a little cool and my gosh that hammer came down, it warmed up and we just started reeling them in one right after another almost all were really good quality, numbers are great, and as that water warmed up, the bite got faster and faster.
This was their first experience on Lake Okeechobee and Charlie got the biggest bass of his life just shy of 9 pounds, it was a beautiful fish and we had a lot of fun out there.
It is going to be a good spawn with the full moon, this is Capt Mark Shepard don’t miss out on your opportunity to fish the Big O.
