Okeechobee Bass Fishing Trip
Traveling Florida you must experience its outdoor opportunities. Florida has so much to offer especially under its sun. An Okeechobee Bass Fishing Trip is one great way to spend time with your family or friends.
Today, I had the pleasure to fish with Michael and Jeff. Dreaming about an Okeechobee Bass Fishing Trip, they were ready to catch some big fish.
Covered from the wind, Harney Pond was the perfect place to start. Traveling along the west wall, we kept some spots for reserve.
The bass love to live and hunt around ambush or structure points. When it gets windy, focus in on these points and it should help you find fish.
Okeechobee Bass Fishing blessed us today with around 30 largemouth bass, which is a great number with that wind factoring in.
Most of the bass were in the 3 to 4 pound range. The biggest one of the day was right around 6 pounds.
We had a great time on the water and I look forward to the opportunity to fish with them again.

Clean Water Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing
Hey, everybody, it’s Captain Mark Rogers here with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
Some of the best days of Florida fishing are when you get to split the day throwing artificial and wild caught shiners. I had the pleasure to get on Lake Okeechobee today with clients from Boston.
The bite was steady even though the conditions were changing the water. I tried to find some cleaner water, knowing it would make all the difference. We were out Searching for Clean Water Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing.
We did find some clean water but which contributed to some of the better bites. The big bite missed us today, but we still had a good day with an average bass up to 4 pounds.
Throwing artificial baits like the Bass Assassin “fat job” and other jerk baits brought some fish in the boat. The bite was steady all morning.
Top water fishing should turn on as we get into next month. It was a great day with a lot of fish.

Everglades Florida Fishing Charter
Hi this is Captain Mark Rogers with your Alligator Alley fishing report.
Everglades fishing has been getting better as the months get warmer and warmer. I had the pleasure to take out Jon down to mile marker 41. A small cold front moved in but the fishery wasn’t really affected. We had an amazing Everglades Florida Fishing Charter.
As the Everglades trip roared on, the bite got better. Top water action early in the day produced a couple of bites. After throwing top water, we switched to plastic senkos and soft jerk baits. Bass Assassins 5.25” “Fat Job” is one of the best plastic senkos you can purchase. They also make a 4” Forked Tail Shad that has been also been catching quality and quantity I look for. It has produced many fish for my clients.
Windy conditions and the warm sun pushed the suspended bass up onto the shallow water. The sun warmed the banks making the bass more active. We caught right around 30 fish for the day, weighing up to 4 pounds.

Fishing Reports, Florida Peacock Bass, Golden Gate Canal, Largemouth Bass, South Florida Fishing Reports
Naples Florida Fishing
Hi this is Captain Mark Rogers and today We were fishing at the Golden gate canal.
The Golden Gate Canal system has been incredibly active lately. Peacock Bass and Largemouth bass are abundant and fun to catch out of the canals. We had a great time today doing some Naples Florida Fishing Peacock and Largemouth Bass.
With a cold front that moved in over night, I was surprised to see the water temperature hold. It dropped to about 50 degrees this morning with a water temp dropping 2 degrees to 72.
We picked away at them all day. Catching numbers and quality all around, the biggest largemouth was 4 pounds. Tarpon began to roll and we trolled shiners to see if we could entice a bite.
As the water warmed, we caught a couple more largemouth bass on artificial. We also picked more at the peacocks with the biggest right around 3 pounds.
It was a great day overall. We caught right around 20 fish. The canal system is really hot right now, if you are in the Naples region and want to experience it, Contact Us and Come Catch Yours!

Tarpon Surprise Peacock Bass Fishing
Hi this is Captain Mark Rogers and today We were fishing at the Golden gate canal.
Today we had another amazing trip out of the Golden Gate Canal System. It is always nice to have a Tarpon Surprise Peacock Bass Fishing Naples Florida in February.
Fishing is supposed to be about the fun and not necessarily about the sport. Live bait is one of the most effective techniques to catch fish. It brings an awesome environment and a change of pace.
The conditions were calm, which made for a nice boat ride to our first couple of spots. The fish were biting, putting several quality peacock bass in the boat.
We also had several strikes from tarpon, finally connecting with one. They are a very active fish that love to jump. Once I landed the tarpon, it made for great pictures. They are just a beautiful fish to handle and take pictures with.
The trip ended with around 20 peacock bass in the boat as well as a tarpon and some largemouth bass. We had a great day and they had a good time.
