I had the pleasure of fishing with Tim and his two sons Scott and Chris. They were traveling from Baltimore and wanted to experience what Florida Bass Fishing was all about. It was their dream day fishing the Everglades.
We went out for a 6 hour trip in the Glades and it was an absolute slam fest. When you come fishing here, you never truly are ready for what the day can bring. Artificial baits ruled the day of fishing and we could not keep the net out of the water.
Tim, Scott, and Chris caught over 122 largemouth bass along with several Oscars on their trip. It is always exciting to put that many fish in the boat along with catching doubles and trips. The biggest fish weighed 4 pounds, which is an excellent catch.
Another amazing aspect was catching two fish on one lure. Don’t miss out on your adventure here in South Florida catching big numbers of largemouth bass on a variety of fishing lures!

For most of my life fishing has been a passion. Over the years I have fished bass tournaments across Pennsylvania and on lakes and rivers up and down the East Coast. I have participated in B.A.S.S., FLW Stren Series, Walmart BFL’s, and ABA tournaments along with finishing 2nd in the 2012 Keystone Bass Classic on Lake Erie, to name a few.

Birthday Florida Fishing Trip
A Birthday Florida Fishing Trip is a great way to spend some time with your family. Lake Okeechobee is heating up producing great fishing despite changing conditions. Don’t miss out next time visiting Florida.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Matt and Sandra traveling from Sarasota, Florida. Her father Bob was traveling from Colorado and it was his birthday fishing trip.
Weather is highly unpredictable in Florida which is what makes the state so unique. For most of your fishing trips, you will experience beautiful days but there is a chance it catches up to you. We experienced extreme winds on this fishing trip up to 30 mph.
Even though we had some rough conditions, we managed to catch over 20 solid largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed 4.75 pounds. Wild-caught shiners were the most effective method and the bite was strong.
Come on down to Florida these winter months and catch the quality you are looking for. I am looking forward to fishing with these amazing people again!

Artificial Florida Fishing Trip
Largemouth bass dominates the freshwater here in Florida. Lake Okeechobee is a legendary lake to come catch them on. An Artificial Florida Fishing Trip will keep you excited and wanting more action.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Steve and his dad Roman. They were traveling from Toronto Canada to fish Lake Okeechobee. Steve was an accomplished tournament angler and fisherman who has been on Lake Okeechobee before but wanted to come back for more.
Artificial baits were the most effective technique on this fishing trip. Most of the trip was filled with it along with an hour of shiner fishing. Spinner Baits caught most of the bass on this trip.
Steve and Roman caught several-quality largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds. Conditions were cold and windy producing that great spinnerbait fishing. I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future.

South Bay Fishing Trip
Lake Okeechobee is starting to really pick up. As the weather continues to get better, so will the bite. A South Bay Fishing Trip is all you need when adventure to South Florida.
I had the pleasure of fishing with repeat clients of mine, Kathleen and John. They are traveling from Staten Island, New York to catch bass here in Florida as well as visit family. We went out for a 6 hour out of South Bay on the south end of Lake Okeechobee.
Conditions are clearing up on the lake and the sun finally broke through after three days of no sun. Wild caught shiners were the most effective method on this trip. They also fished artificial baits toward the end of the trip.
On this trip, the bite was most certainly off but we still managed to catch several largemouth bass weighing up to 3 pounds. Most of the bass were caught on shiners but we also snagged a few on stick baits. They were mostly males and did miss a couple of big fish so new fish are still in the process of moving in.
We had a blast on the water and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. Don’t miss out on the action next time visiting Florida!
