I had the pleasure of fishing with Yohan, Andy, Ceril, and Yohan. They are traveling from France on vacation and really wanted to target peacock bass while they were here.
Lake Ida has been a great location to catch the different species here in South Florida. You can really experience how great Florida Fishing Freshwater can really be.
Even after experiencing a cold front, the water temperature was just right for catching some quality and numbers of bass. The weather was also just perfect with a nice breeze and warm clear skies above.
The group of amazing friends had a great time out on the water. They caught 85 fish over the course of their trip. You can never expect to have such a great day! We caught peacock bass weighing up to 4 pounds.
I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future where we can create more memories, one fish at a time.
