Florida Fishing Double Digit Largemouth Bass- St Johns River

Double Digit Largemouth Bass

This is Capt Ken Walker with your St Johns River Fishing Report.

The Saint John’s River in beautiful North Florida is fishing incredibly this month. I had the pleasure of fishing with Adam and his father, Bill. Our First Florida Fishing Spot produced a Giant. It was a Double-Digit Largemouth Bass Fishing Adventure.

Adam hooks into a monster largemouth bass on our first spot with our first shiner. This bass gave Adam the fight of his life, weighing a total of 10 pounds 1 ounce.

What a fantastic catch; you don’t see that every day. An additional catch was also a 10-pound catfish. Bill also landed a good number of quality largemouths which were noticeably different than the smallmouth bass he is used to catching back home.

The fishing conditions on the water were beautiful and perfect. The wind was blowing slightly, making the fishing enjoyable.

I have some dates available for the St Johns River, so contact us today to catch that double-digit largemouth bass of your dreams or even some hybrid striped bass.
