Bluegrass Festival to Florida Largemouth Bass Fishing- Rodman Reservoir

Florida Largemouth Bass

This is Capt Steve with today’s fishing report for Rodman Reservoir.

Ken traveled all the way to North Florida from North Carolina. The Rodman reservoir has been on his list to fish Florida largemouth bass. He has read a lot about the quality of fish it has been producing. It was his First Time Fishing Live Shiners and he was in for a treat.

You have to dial in that bite when you get it. Giving the fish ample time to eat will help land and catch the fish. Those shiners love to run up underneath the mats.

The Reservoir did not produce the numbers or quality I wanted, catching a dozen fish with the best one weighing 5 pounds.

Ken traveled for a Bluegrass Festival and decided to enjoy a Florida largemouth bass trip while he was here. We had a great day on the water and I hope he enjoys the activities North Florida has to offer.

I am looking forward to fishing with him again; we had a great time on the water.
Till then, tight lines!
