If you’re serious about exploring Lake Guntersville, Wheeler Lake, or Pickwick Lake, then you need to book a trip with him. Phenomenal Captain - Even better person! Shout out to Captain Tim Macknair for his unbelievable generosity to bring his boat the whole way from AL to PA so that he could volunteer for the Paralized Veterans Bass Tournament! My cousin Mark was the fortunate one to be paired with him. Tim not only exhibited an amazing amount of patience and understanding to assist Mark fishing, he had a wealth of knowledge and skill to help Mark have the best fishing trip of his life! Favorite boat captain Captain Tim give me the best fishing experience so far in a bass tournament for Paralyzed Veterans of America Keystone chapter.. All our veterans had a fantastic time. Captain Tim got us to the finish in record time with a good catch add the last minutes. The river that day what is bad for a lot of the anglers and boat captains so it was a rough tournament, but I caught the most fish that day even though we had to throw back the small ones. Wonderful getaway from Nashville The lake is gorgeous, friendly community with great restaurants. I am definitely returning. I took my girlfriend for a fun weekend getaway and we loved this area. Also the Lodge at Lake Guntersville is a must see for the views. Looks like a grand place to stay also...

Fun Fishing A fun weekend trip with the spouse. Capt Tim help me scout the area for my next big. Wheeler lake is peaceful and the fish seem to be plentiful, at least Capt Tim made it look that way. I would recommend Bass Online when wanting to fish here.

Love the Seasons We loved this lake so much we are thinking of moving here. Geese, ducks, egret, turtles, lots of fish, even saw a red fox. The river is about two miles wide at the widest point. Great for fishing or cruising. Capt Tim showed us many inlets on Wheeler to fish. Sunsets are breathtaking. You should visit and use Capt Tim.

Great lake retreat for families Spent a week vacation near Pickwick, rented a house. Found BassOnline.com online and booked the trip completely online. To my surprise Capt Tim responded right a away and provided a great service. House was through VRBO, everything was great.

Our happy place! Funny story! So my wife and I have always talked about one day moving somewhere warmer. To a place where winters aren’t 8 months long, -60 below zero with the windchill at times and a place where you don’t have to shovel snow every other day. Yup, this is the place!

Great family vacation spot Wheeler Lake is part of the Tennessee river system and we wanted to experience. Not having our fishing equipment or boat we used Bass Online with Capt Tim. The fishing was great the entire time. The scenery is great any season of the year. The City of Decatur offers great food and housing options.

Beautiful Scenery This is is one of the nicest places to visit, from high upon the park you can look down on to the river and the scenery is spectacular, and at night the sunset looking down the river is spectacular. If you like to look at the wildlife a drive through the park will make the drive worth it, plenty of deer to look at and take pictures.

Great time! Stayed at the Hampton inn, ate at Top of the River, and had a really nice time. The hotel was comfortable and quit. I also took a guided trip the next day and caught several bass, Capt Tim met me right at the public boat ramp by hotel!

Great Boating Beautiful lake, great for all kinds of boating. Lots of boat launches and marinas around the lake. Whether you ski, fish, kayak, or just enjoy cruising this is an amazing lake. It is a TVA regulated lake with miles of pristine shorelines. Camping and lodging is available as well.

Absolutely beautiful Lake Guntersville is absolutely beautiful, but a bit chilly in Feb. We took a guided fishing tour, cold but unbelievably worth it. Definitely worth a day to enjoy!

Terrific Tennessee River Wheeler lake is large. So we hired a fishing guide. Lots of distance between locks for boating and failure, Capt Tim helped us with that. Lots of natural scenery along the way. Downside, not many places to dine by boat.
