Light Tackle Fishing on Lake Okeechobee

Nice day on Lake Okeechobee today fishing with long time clients that have been with me for many years. Gloria and her son and their Uncle Harry, Harry has been with me for many, many years and had a lot of great adventures together.

Today we’re doing a light tackle on Lake Okeechobee with lite spinning rods. Pretty decent numbers had some shots at big fish we used a variety of different baits. Throwing a little bit of Bass Assassin and some of my homemade baits. Just have a good time catching some fish, it was just a great day. A bit overcast,  it made it very comfortable. We only got to fish a few hours, we got to fish a (1/2) half-day trip and then the storms started rolling in.

But still a great day on the lake, and great to see these folks.
