Captain Brent had the pleasure of fishing with repeat clients Reed and Chrissy. They were traveling to Central Florida looking to get away and get out on the water. While doing so, they wanted to spend 5 days of Florida bass fishing on two separate lakes. The lakes of choice were Kenansville Lake and Lake Toho.
Central Florida blessed them on their fishing charters. Reed and Chrissy spent 4 days in Kenansville and 1 day on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL. Wild-caught live shiners were the most successful method of catching bass on their fishing trips. They also used artificial baits including Zoom speed worms along with spinnerbaits.
Continued Success
The 5 day total of largemouth bass came in at 165. Now, that is a great number of fish to come to catch right here in Central Florida. On top of that, they had several-quality bass along with the ultimate trophy. The biggest fish caught on these fishing trips weighed in at 10 pounds. Several other catches weighed in at 9 pounds, 7.8, and 7.7 pounds.
Reed and Chrissy could not have been more excited to have a trip like this for bass. You truly can’t beat the action here in Central Florida this time of year. They will be back for more action in the near future and

Just shortly after that, Captain Brent was back out Lake Toho Bass Fishing. He had the pleasure of fishing with Katie and her husband Lanny. They were exploring Kissimmee and wanted to get out on the water. Lake Toho was a great option for them. The bite was a little bit slower than normal but they had fun catching numbers of Florida largemouth bass. The biggest fish weighed just over 3 pounds and was caught with wild-caught shiners.

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Brent spent two days back on Kenansville Lake. He had the pleasure of fishing with Skip and Carl. They were good friends looking for a trophy largemouth bass right here in East Central Florida. Sometimes the stars align and the conditions are just right for an extremely productive day of fishing. They caught 85 largemouth bass in their two days of fishing weighing up to 8.1 pounds. Most of the fish were in a post-spawn pattern and caught on live wild-caught shiners.

Captain Brent Nelson is a local expert for Kenansville bass fishing. He had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and Emily while they were visiting on vacation. While doing so, Florida Bass Fishing was a must. Kenansville Lake was only a short distance away making for the perfect opportunity to catch some big bass.
Dave and Emily’s fish are only wild-caught live shiners on this fishing trip. They boated over 40 largemouth bass with several in the 6-pound class. The largest fish weighed in at 7.12 pounds. They could not have been more excited about their fishing trip and all the quality they caught. Several places across the state can produce fishing like this but this is one of the best!

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Captain Brent was back on the water for a two-day fishing chart on Kenansville Lake. He had the pleasure of fishing with Robert and Kathleen. They were traveling to Florida looking for a great outdoor experience. You truly can’t beat bass fishing when in search.
Adventure Continues
Day one of the fishing trip was only artificial baits. They had a fantastic day on the water catching over 25 Florida largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed in at 7.5 pounds. Fish were caught on a wide variety of lures including senkos, swim jigs, giant swimbaits, and punching rigs in thick vegetation.
Day two of this fishing adventure was also on artificial baits. The numbers dropped and were slightly down due to full moon phases bringing spawning Tilapia in. Robert and Kathleen caught 15 plus largemouth bass with several bass weighing over 5 pounds. Bass was caught yet again on swimbaits, swim jigs, senkos, and punching thick vegetation.
Robert and Kathleen had amazing times fishing with Captain Brent. Captain Brent is looking forward to them coming back to Florida and catching more bass in the near future!
It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Brent was back out on Kenansville. This time he had the pleasure of fishing with Joe and his son Brock. They were traveling to Florida looking to catch some trophy largemouth bass and Kenansville blessed them on this fishing trip. It was an 8-hour fishing adventure with a mix of artificial baits and live wild-caught shiners.
Incredible Fishery
Kenansville has some incredible fishing this time of year. Joe and Brock boated 45 quality Florida largemouth bass weighing up to 9 pounds, a true Florida trophy bass. The big bass was caught on shiners around floating vegetation. Several other bass were caught on artificial baits including spinnerbaits, swimbaits, swim jigs, and senkos.
A front was rolling through and the fish fired up and ate beforehand. Joe and Brock had a great time fishing here in Florida. Captain Brent is looking forward to their next adventure!

The Fishing is Great and Continues
Greg and Carly caught a number of largemouth bass on their fishing trip. The biggest fish weighed in at 5 pounds. Greg also caught some quality bass weighing up to 4 pounds. Dave was traveling from Arizona looking to explore the great outdoors. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was an exceptional fit and it showed him a great time on his 8-hour fishing trip.
Yet again, wild-caught live shiners were the productive technique. Lake Toho is infamous for trolling shiners along weed lines and submerged hydrilla. Dave caught over 50 Florida largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The average fish weighed in at 3.5 pounds. Dave caught 10 bass over 5 pounds with the biggest fish weighing in at 6.5 pounds.

Soon after this awesome fishing adventure, Captain Brent explored the waters of Lake Toho. He had the pleasure of spending a full day with a morning and an afternoon fishing charter. On his morning fishing trip, he had the pleasure of fishing with Phil and his good friend Steve. They were traveling to Central Florida on vacation and wanted to get in the outdoors. One of the best ways they could think of was a Lake Toho Bass Fishing charter.
It was a foggy start for these friends but they still managed to put some quality fish in the boat. Wild-caught live shiners were the most effective bait on this fishing trip. The biggest bass of this fishing trip weighed up to 4 pounds.

Captain John Leech had the pleasure of fishing with Greg and his three sons. They were traveling to Florida on vacation and need a nice outdoor break. Lake Toho was only a short distance away and they decided to embark on a fishing adventure. It was an afternoon trip filled with a lot of action and some BIG Florida bass in Kissimmee, FL.
The most successful method of fishing was with wild-caught live shiners. When you are looking for a number of quality bass, this is the way to go. Most of the fish were caught over submerged hydrilla lines. The structure is also important when looking for big bass. Greg and his three sons caught 2 largemouth bass in the 7-pound class which made for two new personal bests.

He was spending three days in Central Florida and then heading South to explore the canals of the Everglades with another one of our local experts.
Steve came down during one of the cold fronts which made fishing slightly more difficult. He still had a fantastic time on the water catching decent numbers and bass up to 4 pounds. The action will continue to pick up as the weather begins to stabilize and get warm. Steve will be back for more action in the near future!

Just shortly after this awesome fishing trip, things turned for the better. The weather cleared and the big bass came out to play. Captain Mark Gay had the pleasure of spending 10 hours on the water with two separate clients looking to explore what Lake Toho had to offer. Robert was spending the morning on Lake Toho. Robert was traveling from Texas looking to hook into some Florida bass. Heather and Lee were local Floridians looking to capitalize on a beautiful day in the outdoors. Lake Toho Bass Fishing was a massive success and the big ones came out to play.
It is not every trip that you catch a trophy largemouth bass. Most days are consistent catches of quality bass ranging anywhere from 2-5 pounds. Great days consist of catches from 5-8 pounds. Dream days consist of true TROPHY largemouth bass ranging from 8-10+ pounds. Lake Toho produced a dream day of fishing.
Robert had a great day on the water catching great numbers and quality largemouth bass. Heather and Lee had the most fantastic day of them all on this early afternoon fishing trip. Heather caught her a 10-pound 8-ounce Trophy largemouth bass on wild-caught live shiners. Several other giant fish were caught as well. You truly can’t beat a day like this on the water!

Just shortly after that fishing trip, Captain Brent was back out on Kenansville Lake. This time he had the pleasure of fishing with Terri and his son Samuel and Sam’s friend Jonah. They were traveling from Georgia looking to explore Kenansville. It was the right time to come and Kenansville blessed them on this fishing trip.
Last year they came down here and explored Kenansville and had to come back for two days of fishing. Wild-caught shiners were the method of choice as they knew it would produce some amazing catches. Kenansville was on fire during this fishing trip. Terri, Sam, and Jonah caught 30 largemouth bass on this fishing trip. The first big bass weighed 8.5 pounds and the biggest bass weighed in at 8.12 pounds. Now that is a day of Trophy bass fishing in Central Florida.
On the second day the conditions completely changed. A cold front rolled through dropping air temperatures and dumping rain and strong winds on them. Due to the weather and one of the young men being sick, they had to cut the day short.
