The weather has fluctuated quite this season. Central Florida and North Florida get hit pretty hard with it. The thing is that the bass still continues to eat. Frontal conditions generally get them fired up as they don’t know when the next meal could come. If you are traveling to Florida and happen to experience one, don’t get discouraged.

Captain Devin had the pleasure of fishing with Joseph and his 3 friends. They were traveling from Indiana looking to explore Central Florida. While they were here, they adventured out on a Lake Toho Bass Fishing adventure out of Kissimmee, FL. Captain Devin had a great time with these gentlemen and everyone put quality fish in the boat.

The most successful and effective method on this fishing trip was live bait. Wild-caught live shiners are always the best way to fish for largemouth bass in Florida. Joseph and his 3 friends landed over 30 bass with nice quality in the mix. The bite was slower than they hoped due to cold front conditions.

Joseph and his friends will be back for more action and Captain Devin is looking forward to their next adventure!

Exploring Can Really Help

Just shortly after this fishing charter, Captain Devin was back out and had the pleasure of fishing with Ken. Ken was traveling to Central Florida looking for a unique experience. Largemouth bass fishing was most certainly an adventure for him and the bass were schooled up and feeding strong. The best trips are the ones where you catch a bass on the first cast and it doesn’t stop.

March Central Florida Bass Fishing 4Ken explored the gin-clear Butler Chain of Lakes on this fishing trip. The bass were in an offshore structure and were feeding all day long. Ken caught a bass on his first cast throwing jerk bait.

After that, he landed over 80 largemouth bass in his full-day fishing charter. Most of the bass were caught on jerk baits and crankbaits but live bait was also thrown in the mix. The biggest bass for the day weighed in at 5.5 pounds.

You can’t ask for a better day on the water than this one. Ken is looking forward to his next adventure with Captain Devin in the near future here in Central Florida.

It was not long after this fishing trip that Captain Devin was back out on the water. This time, he had the pleasure of fishing with Rocky and Chris. They were traveling from Indiana looking to explore the Butler Chain of Lakes. Unfortunately, the bite was not as strong as the last trip but these gentlemen still put great numbers in the boat.

Father and Son Win Again

The bite was slower due to a high-pressure system that rolled through March Central Florida Bass Fishing. Rocky and Chris put over 30 largemouth bass in the boat. The quality bass were biting the wild-caught live shiners along with several artificial baits. The most productive ones were the Zoom Super Fluke and jerk baits over submerged hydrilla. No matter what it was on, these guys had a blast catching bass!

Rocky and Chris will be back for more action in the near future. Captain Brent is looking forward to seeing them again on the water!

Finally, Captain Devin adventured out on his last trip of this fishing update. He had the pleasure of fishing with Derek and his father Mark. They wanted to come to catch largemouth bass while Lake Toho Bass Fishing.

Conditions were colder than normal and windy. Most of the fish caught were on wild-caught live shiners. Derek and Mark also caught them on artificial baits. The most effective artificial baits were reaction innovation skinny dipper swimbait.

This father-son duo crushed the largemouth bass with over 40 fish in the boat. Most of the bass were focused on Kissimmee grass and sparse lily pads. The biggest bass of the day weighed in at 5 pounds 8 ounces. You can’t beat a day like that here in Central Florida.
