Clewiston is home to some of the best bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Even though it has great fishing, don’t count out the many other locations like Okeechobee City and Belle Glade for a trip of a lifetime. Come on down and enjoy a Cool Weather Bass Fishing Trip next time visiting.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Brad and his father Ed. It is always nice to get out fishing with people that have things in common. Fishing and hunting are some of their favorite things to do and we got to share many memories on our fishing trip.
We had a fantastic trip out on the water. The action was packed with some great quality fish and decent numbers. Brad and Ed both caught fish weighing up to 4 pounds.
Cooler weather moved in on us making for an interesting and consistent bite. I am hoping to see them again soon on another amazing fishing trip out on Lake Okeechobee. Water levels are still pretty high at 15.38 ft above sea level.
It is going to be a great season here on Lake Okeechobee. Cooler weather will push through and the sunshine is going to promote some of the best bass fishing you have seen. Don’t miss your adventure on the Big O!

Trophy Lake Okeechobee Bass
Florida Bass Fishing is starting to turn on here in Florida especially on Lake Okeechobee. We are seeing excellent numbers and big bass being caught. Enjoy a Trophy Lake Okeechobee Bass next time you visit the state.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave and Todd. They are originally from New York but currently live in Florida. These gentlemen were great people to fish with always keeping me on my toes.
Last time they came out, they caught an 8 pounder. One of their goals for the day was to beat it and catch an even bigger fish. Cold fronts have made the lake unpredictable so we had to fish different locations then last time.
We saw some great numbers of largemouth bass with most fish in the 2 to 3 pound range. Also, Dave and Todd caught 4 and 5 pounders. Fortunately, they also caught the fish they were looking for. It was a trophy largemouth bass weighing 9.5 pounds.

Crazy Bass Fishing Trip
Tournament season is here on Lake Okeechobee and boat traffic has been crazy. Be careful when fishing the lake by yourself and navigate carefully. Come enjoy a Crazy Bass Fishing Trip!
I had the pleasure of fishing with Jason and John traveling from Pennsylvania. It was their first time fishing on Lake Okeechobee and they wanted to make it a good one.
We had a really good day on the water. The action was jammed packed. Jason caught more fish than John but John caught the biggest fish. He beat his personal best largemouth bass twice with two fish weighing 6.75 pounds and 7.75 pounds. Jason caught a 6 pounder and the day average was 2.5 pounds.
One of the neatest parts about this trip was that we experienced catching a largemouth with its tail cut off. You just don’t see that every day!
It has been truly a blessing to be able to experience this action here on Lake Okeechobee. We had an amazing trip and I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future.

I had the pleasure of fishing with two amazing friends. They work in the postal service and wanted to escape the cold for a couple of days here in Florida. While doing so, they had to experience what Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing had to offer.
It was a wonderful morning and the colder weather seems to have pushed past us. Don’t count out the cooler weather that can move down here or be experienced here in Florida. It can help the bass fishing overall.
We are starting to catch females full of eggs which are the start to our great season. Big Bass will begin to move in and the opportunity to catch a personal best is upon us.
These gentlemen caught over 30 largemouth bass weighing up to 5 pounds. I am looking forward to having them come back here to catch more quality bass.

Quick Florida Fishing Trip
If you do not know, Lake Okeechobee has just opened its season. This is the time of year that all the big bass begin to move into the shallow areas of the lake. Enjoy a Quick Florida Fishing Trip next time you are visiting the state to catch largemouth bass.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Bill and his two sons Noah and Ian. They were coming out for a quick 4 hour trip. They wanted to catch some quality bass while visiting the state.
On our fishing trips, you are most certainly going to experience something unique. Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing is starting to turn on and the numbers have been very decent.
As the water warms up, the bass begin to really start feeding. Air temperatures were 60 on this trip but Bill and his sons still caught some bass. They caught a quality largemouth bass weighing 5.75 pounds that made the trip worth it in these difficult conditions.
We had a great time on the water and we are looking forward to more great days. The big girls are starting to roll in. It is going to be a fantastic season on Lake Okeechobee and we do not want you to miss out on your adventure today.
