Two Boat Trip On Lake Okeechobee

Two Boat Trip On Lake Okeechobee

Hey Everybody this is Capt Brian Brown with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

We left out of slims fish camp and we had actually a two boat trip. I was helping Brett Isackson with his repeat clients and guys that I worked with before in the past and had an absolute blast of a day. I think we wound up, on the clicker we had 47 fish. We had a couple real beauties 5 and 6 pound fish, with the mix. We had to move around a little bit, the bite started off a little bit slow and we had 7 dozen shiners with us, We finally picked the right area and wound up with 10 or 15 fish out of that and actually Brett was fishing a spot and moved off it and we pulled up on it, and we pretty much opened up the faucet.

After that we wound up catching another 30 fish just sitting on that one spot along with our two big fish. Just had an absolute great day, you cant ask for any better weather, the lake was looking good. Had a little bit of a northwest wind which made the water a little muddy, and I think kind of kept things down until the sun got up for us, but man the sun got high, We had partly cloudy skies light winds. I mean overall you couldn’t ask for a better day lot of laughs and just a lot of comradeship, great time out on the water, and that’s what it’s all about just you know having fun just getting along with everybody and catching some fish and making memories.

So if guys are out there looking for something to do and get out of the cold and what not up north and get off the ice give us a shout down here with BassOnline, and we’ll get you out on the water and hopefully get you a trip of life time. Maybe even a fish of a lifetime, and until next time, tightlines, this is Capt Brian Brown.
