Largemouth Bass 8.4 Pounds Caught On Toho

Hi, this is Capt John Leech, what a day we had on Lake Toho fishing for largemouth bass. Today I had Dr. Greg and his buddy Jessie out fishing. We had a fantastic day Greg caught himself an 8.4 pounder and another over 7 and Jessie had one over 5. We just caught a lot of fish we ran out of bait and had to run and get some more. Went back out and burned through all of that.

It was just one of those days where you and the fish wake up on the right side of the bed. Anyways for all your freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline thank you.

Orlando Bass Fishing

Central Florida waterways hold some of the largest bass in the state of Florida off of the main spawn season. While some areas have more pressure than others. You can still find isolated and peaceful spots with monster bass lurking just below the surface and it can happen in a split second from calm waters to tight lines. Once you get your feet wet hunting these predators and go into the skills and techniques used to land one of these fish and the years of experience some Captains have and are willing to share is amazing. So you can spend the next few years learning almost everything. Then fish with another angler and realize you still have much to learn.

Largemouth Bass

This species is one of the top predators in the freshwater aquatic systems throughout Florida. Highly prized by a vast variety of anglers for their explosive first bite and strong fight, these fish mean business. There are countless techniques and baits that target these beautiful fish. From Baits targeting the deeper holes to top water baits there are many ways to hook into one of these guys. New baits and styles are being used every day and what did work yesterday might not today. Sometimes even a custom rig put together from outdated lure and tackle parts becomes the next big thing.

Bass Fishing Johns Lake

Bass Fishing Johns Lake

Bass Fishing Johns Lake

This is Capt John Leech today I fished with Tommy Dorsey. He loves going up to Johns Lake we got up there and the fish were schooling and they were hungry. We caught quite a few anyways we had a great time I can’t wait to go fishing with him again. Anyways for all your freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline thank you.

Johns Lake

Johns Lake is in North Park a little northwest of Orlando. The main species of fish anglers target are the Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and bluegill. With the combination of Bass and Panfish, it offers a chance to catch a trophy sportfish and a tasty meal. While it produces trophy fish it has very little pressure throughout the week.

Making this a more relaxing and enjoyable trip. Bass Fishing Johns Lake despite the building of high-dollar homes along the shoreline, there is plenty of cover for the fish from weeds to rocky structures and coral-like rock formations on the lake bottom.
