Johns Lake is in North Park a little northwest of Orlando. The main species of fish anglers target are the Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and bluegill. With the combination of Bass and Panfish, it offers a chance to catch a trophy sportfish and a tasty meal. While it produces trophy fish it has very little pressure throughout the week. Making this for a more relaxing and enjoyable trip. Despite the building of high dollar homes along the shoreline, there is plenty of cover for the fish from weeds to rocky structures and coral-like rock formations on the lake bottom.
Captain John Leech is a full-time guide for over 20 year in Central Florida. He specializes in Central Florida bass fishing and is one of the best at targeting big trophy size large-mouth bass in the Orlando area. His first guide trip was in Leesburg, Florida on the Harris Chain of Lakes. By 1983 I was fortune to be able to do the one thing I loved the most FISH and make a living doing it. That is what I call a dream job Central Florida Bass Fishing Guide no doubt that fishing in Orlando is one of the best in the world.
