Mike Lee and his sons Maddox and Miller were vacationing in Central Florida. While doing so, bass fishing was on their minds. Captain Brent had the pleasure of taking them out on Lake Toho in Kissimmee for a fishing adventure. The action was just right for a productive day on the water with a variety of different baits.

Warmer months of the year fire up the bass during the early morning hours. If you get to explore and fish during these times, topwater baits like the Zara Spook are incredibly effective. Mike, Maddox, and Miller caught a largemouth bass on both wild-caught live shiners and some on artificial baits including the spook, zoom super flukes, and senkos. Most of the fish came on live bait though.

They landed over 30 largemouth bass while fishing over submerged vegetation. Most of the fish were in the 2-3 pound range with exceptions of fish weighing 4, 5, and 6 pounds. What an amazing day of fishing for this family. Captain Brent is looking forward to getting them back on the water soon!

Just shortly after this fishing trip, Carlo and their son explored Lake Toho Bass Fishing with Captain Brent. The early morning action continued. Carlo and his son hopped on board for only a short 4-hours. Fishing conditions and high pressure made for an interesting bite but they still managed to land some quality bass.

Wild-caught shiners were the most productive baits on this fishing trip. Carlo and his son landed over 15 largemouth bass. They had a blast catching each one with Captain Brent. This time of year, fishing can be unpredictable but our local experts will be the best chance at landing some quality fish.
